As a result, we want to notify you that Aetna LifeInsurance COlnpany will stop selling Individual PPO health insurance policies in the State ofCalifornia after July 1,2013. You or one of your dependents is currently enrolled in one ofthese plans.We will continue to administer your Individual Health insurance plan through December 31,2013. YOllr coverage will cease at n1idnight December 31,2013.Your Aetna individualhealth insurance policy will not be renewed afterDecember 31,2013. You should obtainother health insurance coverage beforeDecember 31,2013 to avoid a lapse in coverage.This letter serves as written notice of the withdrawal of your coverage as required by stateand federal law.How we came to this decisionThe decision to stop offering plans is never easy. We look at a number of factors beforen1aking such an important decision: Are we able to provide affordable plans?
