Aeroflot & Sabre agreement

• Aeroflot Russian Airlines & Sabre Airline Solutions signed agreement in April 2004

• Aeroflot will migrate to SabreSonic for multihost system, including inventory, reservations & departure control

• Aeroflot will also use SabreSonic Web and Traverse (frequent flyer system)

GDS Agreement

• Aeroflot travel agents today use Gabriel to book SU• Same system as airline – no true travel agency functionality• After SabreSonic cutover SU partition of Gabriel will disappear• Today Gabriel is one of 3 or 4 systems in Russian travel

agencies – alongside Sirena 2000, Sirena 2.3 and GDS

• Aeroflot will provide Sabre GDS to their travel agents• Full travel agency functionality – world’s leading GDS• Aeroflot & Russia specific customisation & development• Powerful distribution tool for SU’s inventory and fares• Full range of other GDS content also available to agents

Agency Contracts/Order Process

• Aeroflot Sales department• Signing new contracts with their travel agents, including

terms for Sabre access– Number of TAs (workstations/users) $30 each– MINI address required Y/N (for back office) $30 each– Number of printer addresses Free– Ticketing (with IATA or validator) Free– However agent must provide their own ticket printer which

must be one that is certified by Sabre• Online Order form can be completed by travel agent at

Aeroflot website for each location migrating from Gabriel to Sabre. The Order Form can be printed for signature.

Agency Contracts/Order Process• Once Order Form received by Aeroflot Configuration

department• They will send agency Orders to Sabre Operations group

– (planned for approx 200 PCCs per week from mid Jan 2005)
