AUXILIARY SECRETARY'S MESSAGE

Hello Sisters:As I write this letter, it is snowing, and the end of 2011is just around the corner. There is an old saying, theolder you get, the faster the time goes. For me, thatsaying is true.

We had our dinner on December 13th, and it was ahuge success. We had 80 sisters in attendance. TheMen's Officers did a FABULOUS JOB of taking care ofus women! Jim Youngdahl was our personal waiter...that was the first time we ever had one of those!!!! RonSinay and his Kitchen Helpers did a GREAT JOB!!!!The Men members do a great deal for the Auxiliary.Without their help, our Auxiliary would not be TrTex^istence. THANK YOU for all your GENEROSITY!

I still have 37 Sisters who are delinquent in their dues.The Grand Aerie is giving you until January 14th, 2012at midnight to pay your dues. If not paid by this time,you will be DROPPED as a MEMBER, and this will beyour last newsletter. Check your Dues Receipt, if it isstamped September 30, 2011, and your key card ispurple, YOU ARE DELINQUENT.

Our spaghetti Dinners will resume on January 29,2012. The cost is $6.00 and we serve from 3:00pm toabout 6:00pm. Come in and enjoy a fine dinner andlots of fun. Keith Calhoun and his kitchen staff do a lotof work to help us with these dinners. The Auxiliarycannot THANK all of them enough. The desserts thatour women members donate are really appreciatedas well as all the hard work that our members do forthese dinners.

Our Madam President, Shelley Smith, has put a lotof personal time and effort into keeping this Auxiliaryoperating, so if you could find a few extra minutes inyour busy schedule, she could surely use a few sistersto help volunteer at our obligations in the Aerie.

If you have moved, or changed your phone numberrecently, drop a note in my mailbox behind the bar, so

I can change this for you.

I have rattled on long enough. Please remember ourSisters who are not feeling well, confined to theirhomes, in a nursing home, or in the hospital. A cardor a telephone call can sometimes perform a smallmiracle.

I wish each and every one a HAPPY, HEALTHY, PROS-PEROUS NEW YEAR AND HAPPY VALENTINE'SDAY.

Hello Ladies,Well, it's hard to believe that it is 2012 already. Hopeeveryone had a wonderful Holiday season.

I would like to thank all of the Ladies that helped withour Christmas Dinner and the Children's ChristmasParty. You guys did a wonderful job. I would also liketo send out a very special "thanks" to the members foreverything you do for the Ladies Auxiliary.

Ladies, the monthly dinners will start back up on Janu-ary 26, 2012 at 3:00 - ?The cost is $6.00 for spaghetti,roll, tossed salad. Dessert is $1.00. If you would liketo donate baked goods for these dinners, drop themoff labeled "Ladies Auxiliary" and we will get them. Ihope to see everyone bring their family down to eatand support the Ladies. We also need volunteers tohelp make the dinners. We will also have a dinner onFebruary 26, 2012.

In closing, I hope to see more members come to themeetings, and please keep the shut-ins and our sistersthat are sick in our prayers.
