The Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical & Engineering Training (CIFNET) at Kochi, Chennai and

Visakhapatnam, proposes to conduct a short term training programme on Deep Sea Fishing and

Navigation for 10th Std passed candidates with minimum age of 18 years, for a period of 3 months, on 1st

August, 2013 for providing skilled manpower to LOP Fishing Vessel Operators. This course is exclusively

for sponsored candidates only (as part of the action plan of phasing out of foreign crew) under the MOU
