    The Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS) has been established under an Act of theParliament. It is a premier and first of its kind institute created to provide quality research and capacitybuilding services for the National and provincial legislatures and their functionaries. The Institute offers anattractive pay package through special grades to encourage highly skilled professionals as envisaged in PIPS

    1 Master's Degree/LL.B from recognized university in Pakistan orabroad or Chartered Accountant or Cost and ManagementAdministration Accountant or Master's Degree in Business andFinance Administration or Administrative Sciences or Master ofCommerce should possess managerial skill and leadership qualitieswith 10 years post qualifications experience of administration and

    finance in a government or semi government or private organizationof repute. He should possess managerial skill and leadership qualitiesand must be capable of managing financial affairs of the PIPS.

    2 Director Training(OG-II)

    1 Master's Degree/LL.B from recognized university in Pakistan orabroad should possess training skill and leadership qualities with 10years experience in a government or semi government orautonomous or a reputed private organization in the relevant field.Must be capable of managing training programs for PIPS.

    3 Additional Director(Human Resources)(OG-III)

    1 Master's Degree/LL.B from recognized university in Pakistan orabroad should possess managerial skill and leadership qualities with 7years post qualifications experience in a government or semigovernment or autonomous or a reputed private organization inanyone or more of the following fields, namely, personnel

    management, transport estate management, store, procurement,general administration and coordination and must be capable ofmanaging the administrative affairs of the PIPS.

    4 Additional Director(Curriculum/Oversight)(OG-III)

    1 Master's Degree holder in Social Sciences or Management Sciencesor LL.B from recognized Pakistani University or abroad with 3 yearspost qualification experience in a Government or semi government orautonomous or private reputed organizations in the relevant field. The

    job responsibilities would include conducting and monitoringtrainings, trainings of trainers programs and manual development forcapacity building workshops, seminars and symposia.

    5 Additional Director (IT)(OG-III)

    1 Master in Computer Science/MBA in any IT related field/BCS (4years)/Bachelors in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. 7 years relevantexperience including first level management as well as senior

    management. Analytical skills and the ability to carry out reviews andproduce reports. Understanding of technology as well as IT solutions,including software application, networking, server technology,standards and interfaces, internet technologies, elements of e-commerce and e-governance, and IT industry development.Leadership skills, ability to manage a team effectively. Excellentwritten communications skills and ability to interact at seniormanagement levels.

    1 M.     1 Graduation in Mechanical, civil or Electrical Engineering with 5years experience in maintenance of multi storey buildings with latestutility services. Preference shall be given to candidate havingexperience in operating and maintenance of chilled air conditioningsystem, air handling HVAC installation, pumps installation,firefighting system.

    10 Librarian(OG-IV)

    1 Master's Degree in Library and Information Science with 03 yearspost qualifications experience in library management and moderninformation technologies such as on-line data bases, searching anddevelopment of computerized data base etc in a teaching or researchinstitution of repute. Preference will be given to those havingexperience in parliamentary or legislative institutions with

    international exposure and sound experience in reference services.

    11 Research Officer(OG-V)

    4 M.Phil/LL.M equal degree with 1 year experience OR Master/LL.Bdegree holder in the relevant field with 3 years experience in areputed institution and have knowledge of researchtechniques/research methodology. The candidate should be able toconduct research independently. The relevant fields of researchinclude Economics, Law, Public Administration / Finance and SocialSciences.

    1 A Master Degree holder in Law and Legislation from a recognizedPakistani university or abroad with 2 years relevant experience ORLL.B degree holder with 4 years relevant experience preferably in aparliamentary or legislative institute of international repute.
