KIAMBU COUNTY ASSEMBLY
NOTIFICATION FOR SUBMISION OF MEMORANDA AND PUBLIC HEARINGS
ON
THE BUDGET ESTIMATES FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2015/16
Article 196 (1) (b) of the Constitution provides that a County
Assembly shall facilitate public
participation and involvement in the legislative and other
business of the assembly and its
committees
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 196 (1) (b) of the
Constitution, section 91(c) of the County
Governments Act, 2012 and Standing Order 244(7), the general
public is hereby notified that the
Finance, Budget and Appropriations Committee shall conduct
public hearings as indicated in the
schedule below herein.
The Committee therefore invites interested members of the public
to submit any views and
recommendations they may have on the subject matter. The
presentations may be made orally or by
submission of written memoranda in the following manner:-
(i) Written Memoranda may be forwarded to the Clerk, Kiambu
County Assembly, P.O.
Box 1492 00900 Kiambu, hand delivered to the office of the
Clerk, Assembly
Buildings, Kiambu or emailed to the
[email protected] to be
received on or before 29th May 2015.
(ii) The public hearings shall be held from 10.00 am to 5pm as
follows;
