• In this advert we open with a fade in of early morning New York • We see the city starting a new day and waking up• As we are presented with the busy city starting up, we are shown several

shots of people also getting ready for the new day• Everyone is going to grab their morning glass of Tropicana• “A thousand breakfasts one Juice preferred by far”• This gives us the impression that everyone all over New York enjoys only

one drink• This could be a product information advert• One reason for this is that we are told that its “Gently squeezed from the

finest oranges”. • Only the best oranges are used for Tropicana so you know nothing can be

wrong with it• It could also be a lifestyle advert as its something everyone has and enjoys,

showing the audience that they will have a good start to their day just like many other happy people.

• This advert starts as both a personalised advert and a step-step lead with “mouth ulcer?”

• We can see the woman in pain and can relate as a viewer watching who is maybe suffering with the same problem

• We are then immediately presented with the product: Bonjela, in a small creature form

• We then are shown a visualisation of what the product does• “Stamps out germs” “Quickly soothes” “Reduces swelling” • Along with the animation we are given the impression that the product is

active the moment you apply it and will work right away• The woman used the Bonjela so her pain was only temporary; it’s a small

light weight product that can easily fit in a pocket or handbag, making it ideal for everyone

• The fast paced nature of the advert gives the impression that the product will also work quickly, even as quick as the advert
