ADVANING is a US-based company in California that is dedicated to the professional design & manufacturing of a variety of retractable outdoor awnings and shades for both residential or commercial applications. Advaning crafts its awnings and shades with a focus on quality, simplicity and durable functionality.

Each awning is simple to install and operate. They are made using top quality100% premium acrylic fabric and supported by aluminum and stainless steel components surfaced with a high grade zinc/powder coating to ensure a long operational lifespan. In order to best meet your particular needs, Advaning offers both manual and remote-operated motorized retractable designs. For added protection to the fabric and mechanism, each awning comes encased in an aluminum semi-cassette hood. All products include innovative user-friendly features such as Advaning’s EasyPitch™ system. This feature allows you to easily adjust the awning’s front bar pitch in just one simple step.

ADVANING C (CLASSIC) SERIES is designed to provide a cost effective solution to enhance your outdoor experience.

It is professionally crafted to deliver user-friendly to high quality standards. The corrosion-resistant metal components include a 6063-T5 grade aluminum alloy hood and lateral arms secured with a pair of 316 grade stainless steel cables and assembled using 304 grade stainless steel screws.

All C Series awnings come with a 100% Acrylic fabric that provides UV80+ sun protection with superior resistance to mildew and sun fading. User-friendly features such as Easy Pitch™ that allows you to adjust the awning’s front bar pitch in just 1 step. All Advaning retractable awnings come with an all-in-one aluminum semi-cassette hood for added fabric protection. These superior grade components provide excellent strength and optimal resistance to corrosion.

ADVANING L (LUXURY) SERIES awnings are crafted to deliver added value in an elegant and easy to use design.

The Luxury Series canopy is of European Recacril®, which is a 100% solution dyed acrylic fabric that has added sun protection with the aesthetics of European design. User-friendly features such as Easy Pitch™ allows you to adjust the awning’s front bar pitch in just 1 step. All Advaning retractable awnings come with an all-in-one aluminum semi-cassette hood for added protection of the fabric and mechanical components. These superior grade parts ensure a long operational lifespan with maximum resistance to the sun and rain.

All metal components are corrosion resistant. The hood and lateral arms are made of 6063–T5 grade aluminum alloy secured by a pair of 316 grade stainless steel cables and assembled using 316 grade stainless steel screws.

Adjustable Pitch in One StepAdvaning’s safe and simple Easy Pitch™ design reduces a complex, 12-step process of adjusting your awning’s canopy pitch into just one easy step. The slope of your canopy will need to be changed to deal with the sun’s position at various times of day. For this reason alone, the process should be swift and simple.

Other brands offer an adjustable pitch in a more complicated multi-step process that typically involves the use of a ladder and small hand tools. Going up ladders with small hand tools to make these necessary adjustments is potentially hazardous, especially to people with disabilities.

The Easy Pitch™ mechanism allows you to stay firmly on the ground and out of harm’s way as you make any necessary adjustment. All that is required is to use the hand crank that comes included with the awning. Simply twist the handle to the right or left to achieve the desired angle of pitch and you’re all set.

SolutionAdvaning’s canopy materials are of a premium grade 100% acrylic fabric that offers superior grade aesthetics with a soft and stylish yet durable material. It has its own unique feel combining softness with immense fabric strength. It is highly resistant to UV light, mildew and water. The properties of the Acrylic fabric allow it to be highly porous, so that hot air and moisture will not be trapped. Instead, it will breathe through the material providing a more comfortable and less humid environment. Since the material does not retain the moisture, the problem of mildew is mitigated as well. Although humidity is not trapped, the weave is fine enough to retain its water repellent qualities. Overall, the protection of an Advaning canopy will enhance your outdoor experience with a more comfortable and effective outdoor solution.

L (Luxury) Series Fabric Technical InformationThe Advaning L (Luxury) Series canopies are made using the Recacril® 100% solution dyed acrylic material. This high-performance material is manufactured by Recasens, one of Europe’s leading outdoor textile manufacturers. While the acrylic is still in its liquid state, color pigments are added so that they will fully permeate the fiber as it is spun instead of coloring just the exterior.

The fabric spinning and weaving process is optimized to give to the canvas a high tensile strength and tear-resistance. The final process is to treat each completed canvas with the Infinity Process high tech coating. The coating offers exceptional repellency to water and dirt, obtaining a durable fabric that keeps its aesthetic allure over the lifetime. All this produces bold, appealing colors that are more resistant to sunlight and will not wash out.

Q: Why does Advaning use stainless steel screws?A: All Advaning awnings come with superior 304 grade or 316 grade lag screws and masonry bolts for wall/ soffit mounting. These high grade stainless steel screws/bolts are superior in corrosion resistance, strength and lifespan.

Q: Is Advaning awning’s fabric easy to clean?A: Yes, regular cleaning with mild soap and water using a low pressure hose will extend the life of the fabric and prevent the formation of mildew. Remove the dust from the dry awning fabric by use of a damp cloth or chamois.

Be sure that the awning is completely dry before retracting back into its hood.

In case of rain or snow, or wind, it is best to keep the awning closed. Once the weather turns dry, extend out the awning canopy and allow it to dry properly.

Q: Can an Advaning awning improve the energy efficiency inside of my home?A: Yes, by blocking the sun from shining through a patio door or window, you can keep the inside of your house cooler, consequently saving on air conditioning bills.
