MUL was founded in January 2006. It is part of Bio-Medical Imaging Center, Department of Bio-medical Engineering, School of Life Science and Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China.It is also one of the laboratories of “Image Processing and Intelligence Control” Key Laboratory of Education Ministry of China.

Mission of MUL

Devote to study the theory and technologies of ultrasound imaging which can be used in medicine or biology, especially the methods, systems or software with great potential possibility to be employed in clinics and medical equipment manufacturers. Educate the expertise in medical ultrasound imaging area.
