Certification

• IIM Calcutta will conduct examination and other evaluation methods required for certification.

• Successful completion of the programme will require a participant to a) Attend at least 66% in each of the coursesb) Obtain no more than two “Poor” grades in the whole programme

• IIM Calcutta will award a certificate of successful completion to participants who complete the programme successfully.

• Participants with requisite attendance but with more than two “Poor” grades will receive a certificate of participation.

• Failure to take an examination will result in the participant getting an “incomplete” status and no certificate will be awarded to the participant. Also, a participant without requisite attendance (of at least 66%) in every course will not be awarded any certificate.

• Attendance in all campus visits is mandatory.

Professor Indranil Bose and Professor Preetam Basu will be the course coordinators for APDS.

Prof Indranil Bose is a Professor of Management Information Systems at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. He was the founding Chairperson of the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Analytics offered by IIMC, IITKGP and ISL. His degrees include B. Tech (Hons.) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, MS from the University of Iowa and MS and PhD from Purdue University.

Prof. Preetam Basu is a Assistant Professor of Operations at IIM Calcutta. He has a PhD in from the University of Connecticut and an MS in mathematics from the University of Minnesota. He consults in the areas of supply chain management, revenue management and services operations.
