Advanced Diploma in Management StudiesAdvanced Diploma in Management Studies (ADMS) is offered by the School of Continuing and Professional Education (SCOPE) of City University of Hong Kong. The ADMS programme provides students with a solid foundation for further studies at university degree level.
Programme AimsThe ADMS programme aims to nurture and develop the talents of students and create applicable knowledge in order to support social and economic advancement. The programme enables students to understand important business management concepts and equips them with relevant business skills. Graduates will be benefited in both their workplace as well as future university degree study.
Credit Transfer Credit transfer might be granted to students who possess equivalent qualifications at appropriate level. The maximum number of credits that can be transferred is 18 credits (equivalent to 6 modules) for each applicant.
Programme StructureThe programme is being offered under a credit-based system. The number of contact hours of each credit unit is 13. Students are required to complete a total of 12 modules.

亦認識了一班志同道合的同學。由於這個是兼讀制課程，需同時兼顧工作及學業，幸得老師們的體諒及耐心教導，再加上同學之間互相幫助，最終能
順利完成課程。我現在以兼讀方式，修讀香港城市大學專業進修學院與 Edinburgh Napier University 合辦的市場營銷管理 ( 榮譽 ) 文學士課程，相信對日後
就業及晉升，都有莫大幫助。

Level 2 or above in five subjects in HKDSE Examination (a maximum of two Applied Learning (ApL) subjects can be counted), including Chinese and English; or equivalent PLUS at least one year of working experience; or
Passed five subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English at level 2/ Grade E or equivalent PLUS at least two years of working experience; or
Mature students (at least 21 years of age) with at least three years of working experience.

ADMS graduates are eligible to apply for admission to the following top-up degree programmes run by CityU SCOPE in collaboration with UK Universities.
Medium of InstructionEnglish, supplemented with Cantonese.
Assessment and AwardAssessment consists of a combination of coursework and examination.
Students who have passed all the required courses with an overall attendance of 70% or above will be awarded an Advanced Diploma in Management Studies by CityU SCOPE.
ClassesThere are approximately 7-9 hours of evening and / or weekend afternoon classes weekly. They will be held at designated learning centres of CityU SCOPE in Kowloon Tong, Tsim Sha Tsui East and/ or Admiralty.
