Description: This computer class is intended to advance the skills of a beginner Photoshop user. Previous experience with Adobe Photoshop CS5 is assumed and required. The objective of this class is to teach advanced Photoshop skills, continue to expose students to image editing techniques, and graphic design fundamentals, and help students develop in successful graphical documents from scratch.

• Course Policies • Missed Classes: The student is responsible for obtaining materials distributed on class
days when he/she was absent. Please see the teacher before or after class for the materials you may have missed.
• Late or Missing work: All work may be turned in for full credit before the end of the grading period. Work turned in after the grading period will not be accepted and a score of zero will be recorded. Late or missing work must be completed on your own time outside of class time.
• Academic Dishonesty: Plagiarism and cheating are serious offenses and may be punished by failure on the assignment, quiz, test, or even course. For this class, it is okay to assist classmates in general discussions of computing techniques. General advice and interaction is encouraged. Each person, however, must develop his or her own solutions to the assigned activities

Grade Policies: The total points for assignments, projects, quizzes and tests will vary. The school grading scale will be given. Few extra credit opportunities are given. Your grade is based on the accumulation of points over the entire semester.

Evaluation: Students will be evaluated in this course by completing assignments and formative assessments. Nearly all assessment in this course is performance based. Students will have to demonstrate their mastery of concepts by preparing items with the use of a computer.
