    Advanced Business Lessonsare made not only to add more vocabularies but for the students to be able to express themselves.

    These students have broad vocabulary and are capable of expressing himself or herself effectively. Our role as a tutor is simply to

    guide them. Japanese are able to explain but some have problem persuading others. These topics are designed to develop creativethinking skills. Therefore, you have to make sure that they apply this skill in every topic that you will have.

    Beginner and Intermediate lessons are very useful with these lessons. For instance, lesson 4 includes deadlines or problems.

    Beginner's lesson 13 and Intermediate's lesson 15 discuss problems at work which includes vocabularies useful for Advanced lesson.

    LESSON 1: PRE-LESSON DRILL

    This aims to organize students ideas into order to convey his or her opinion or thoughts clearly. In several instances, your student needs to

    explain something in English like in a negotiation or a meeting. This lesson should focus on explaining topics. At the end of the lesson, the

    student should be able to organize his or ideas fast and confidently.

    You can come up with your own ideas, topics or activities to make lessons more interesting.

    The occupation of Japan by the Allied Powers started in August 1945 and ended in April 1952 wherein the United States had carried out the

    whole operation. During the occupation, the USA controlled the Ryukyu Islands including Okinawa. However, Okinawa was returned to Japan

    in 1972.

    In 1947, a new constitution took effect. Japan's suffrage was introduced and human rights were guaranteed.

    The occupation ended in 1952, after the peace treaty. After 2 years Japan's Self Defense Force was established but many opposed to it. The

    public unrest continued until 1960 when the US-Japan Security Treaty was renewed.

    LESSON 2:

    This aims to develop students summarizing skills. This skill is useful for meeting, presentation, negotiation, giving updates, referr ing back to the

    main point or rebating. At the end of this lesson, the student should be able to give his summary with all its essential elements.

    Before starting with any of the advanced lesson make sure that they understand this lesson. The students should apply critical thinking in every

    topic lessons.

    "Mr. Z was a soldier in the war, he had found a village of prisoners, including 58 young children and 14 women who had been beaten and

    tortured. He tried to help them escape, but was shot at by two young 10 year old boys who were part of the prison camps guardianship, the two

    boys had now shot Mr. Z and killed three young girls aged 4, 7 and 9. Mr Z used his machine gun to hold back the fire from the guards, while 6

    more women guards threw grenades at the prisoners, he managed to shot those guards and the two young soldier boys and escape with the

    remaining 69 living survivors. Mr. Z was given the highest medal of recommendation and is a hero to the prison camp survivors"

    IMPORTANT NOTE: Lessons 1, 2, and 3 are the foundations of this material. The student should consider all of these skills in giving or sharing

    opinions.

    Check our beginner and intermediate business lessons. There are related topics wherein the student can use the vocabularies in constructing

    their opinions. Lesson 4 below serves as an example.

    LESSONS 12-13

    These are lessons are about sales industry. Lesson 12 is the introduction and lesson 13 is suggesting techniques and practicing them.

    LESSONS 14-15

    These lessons are about finance particularly stock market. Lesson 15 is the introduction to the stock market. Read some stock market research

    to be reliable in these lessons.

    Review all lessons before coming to class because some if not all of your students might know the lesson better. Add your own

    activities to make the class less predictable.
