Dr. Deven Shah is presently working as a Professor at Terena College of Engineering affiliated to Mumbai University. He has completed his Phd. from SVNIT, Surat . He is pioneer in creating private cloud to demonstrate the virtual computing lab. His project on Cloud Computing got recognition from information week magazine where he was awarded a Silver EDGE CIO award in the year 2010. His project ideas have surfaced in top 20 best project of IBM Great Mind Challenge for last 4 years. He has been awarded the best faculty from IBM in 2007 and also IBM drona award in 2009. His research area includes security, web engineering and he has authored books on the same topics. He is certified vulnerability assessor and developed various courses using open source technology. He is the author of seven more books.
