Adult Learner Support Fund
What is the Adult Learner
Support Fund?
The Adult Learner Support Fund
is designed to help adult learners
with a specific financial need
which could prevent them from
participating in learning. To make
an application you must be aged
19 or over on 31 August 2013.
Money will be awarded to
learners where a specific financial
need has been identified. The
fund is limited and there is no
automatic entitlement to support.
Applications from students
who are care leavers or whose
household income is below
16,190 will be considered a
priority, but this does not exclude
students from households where
the income exceeds this if a
specific financial need can be
demonstrated.
If you are in receipt of a 24+
Advanced Learning Loan you can
apply for support through the
Loans Bursary Fund.
What costs can the Adult
Learner Support Fund
help with? *
