Community ProgrammeFebruary - September 2015

Page 2: Adult Education Feb-sept 2015

The Wellington Academy has for many years offered sport and recreational activities to the community from our Sports Centre and hosted a variety of community groups within the main school during the week.

We are very excited to be offering our own tutor led activities to complement some of the excellent activities that are already running here to create a hub of activity for the Ludgershall and Tidworth Area.

Whether you are looking to take the first steps into adult learning to improve your employability, take up a hobby or find something for your young ones to do during the holidays, we hope to have something for you over the course of the year.

We are very grateful to Aster Communities for kick starting this project by kindly donating a start-up fund.

We started the process of finding out what type of courses the local community would like by undertaking a survey of local groups and parents of students that attend the Academy.

We are still encouraging local people with a skill that they would like to share with the community, to please contact me with your details and ideas to: [email protected]

We look forward to seeing you this year.
