Past student comments and a
pictorial insight into Aquinas
College Adult Centre
Student comments: Maths GCSE: The teacher is really good – he makes the learning interesting and explains well.
Photography: I have learnt so much on this course not only about my camera settings but also about learning to see through the lens to get the best photograph.
Italian Beginners: Good use of different teaching aids – hand outs, dictionaries available, big screen with sound, personal encouragement to participate and speak the language.
Science GCSE: I am really enjoying the course. It’s a good general
overview of science and its varied subjects.
Student comments: Access to HE—Law/Criminology:
The classes are fascinating with rich subject matter. The tutor
relates very well to his students and is very approachable. I needed support from the start and I have received it – this gives and provides a great environment to learn in knowing people are willing to help
Web Page Design: A very good beginners course to Web Design which I have learnt a lot from. The course is enjoyable and we had an enthusiastic tutor with a good style. I think the course is good if you already have a business which you want to put on the internet.

Facilities available at Aquinas
College Adult Centre
PLEASE NOTE:
The Adult Centre will not escape the effects of a ‘squeezed’ budget in 2013-14. From September 2012 we will need to use the building more efficiently to reduce energy and security costs. Please enter and exit the building via the east (car-park end) entrance.
All courses shown on this brochure are subject to a minimum number of enrolled students and will only take place if this number is reached. We do not guarantee continuation or higher levels of courses in future academic years. All details in this brochure were correct at the point of printing.
