PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Compact device for continuous dehumidification of atmospheric air based on a high-performance Silicagel sorption rotor. The air dehumidifier’s housing is made from stainless steel panels; all necessary components are included in the housing. The careful selection and sophisticated design of the components permit economical operation with efficient energy usage and long operating times, but minimal maintenance. Components can be removed in a few simple steps, permitting easy cleaning, maintenance and repair. In their basic version, the devices are designed for interior use and are shipped ready to install with feeder and grounded plug. Adsorption technology enables lower dew points, and reliable dehumidification, in particular for aspiration temperatures of <0°C, where for physical reasons condensing dehumidifiers cannot work anymore. The core of every Ahlberg + Hennrich solution is a sorption rotor that has an extremely large surface and is covered with a highly hygroscopic sorbent. The humidity contained in the air flowing through it (A) is bonded to the rotor surface by absorption, a second air stream (C) is heated up and conducted through the so-called regeneration sector in a reverse flow (E). Thus the humidity (F) is expelled from the sorption wheel, so that the wheel can again absorb humidity.
