Adopt AKid
It's Not Just PlayPlay is an essential part of early learning.
It is the lifeblood of the learning process.
As children play they are developing thecognitive, socio-emotional and physicalskills they will need to take them into a
successful adulthood.
They are developing their curiosity,
problem solving, intentionality, flexibility,
and verbal & non-verbal skills.
Socio-emotionally they are developingtheir emotional intelligence-learningconfidence, cooperation, negotiation,
sharing, empathy and how tocommunicate appropriately.
Physically their fine motor and grossmotor skills are being practiced and
developed.
It's not "just play", they are skills for life!

Chance to PlayChildren are being given less
chance to play every day,
which increases their chances
of obesity, anxiety and
depression. If kids are given
the resources to play, we see
an increase in their health and
well being overall.
Keeps KidsEngaged inLearningResearch shows that kids
typically lose two months of
grade level equivalency in
math while off from school.
Our STEAM camps help to
curb this summer learning
loss and keep kids on track for
success.
Introduces Kidsto NatureAccording to a nationwide
poll, only about 10 percent of
kids spend time outdoors
daily. Our summer camps
offer kids a chance to learn
about the world around them
and get more comfortable
with playing outside.
The Adopt a Kid program providesscholarship funds to underprivilegedchildren aged 5-15 to attend our full
day camps. In 2019, $80,000 wasawarded to youth in our community.

Customer Testimonials"I'm so impressed with the care and service my
children receive at Kid City Full Day Camp. My 14 year
old daughter has been attending more than 6 years
now....she has had many experiences she may never
had the opportunity to have if not for the planning and
preparation put into this camp."
