Getting Started for Hosts and Presenters

This guide is additive to the Participants guide, and only includes extended capabilities available to Hosts and PresentersPresenters.

Use this Getting Started guide if you plan to use the Host and Presenter capabilities of Adobe® Connect™ Mobileand Presenter capabilities of Adobe® Connect Mobile from a smartphone device.

Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Enter Server URL

Tap to type the URL for your meeting, or select from the list of meetings you’ve attended previously.

Tap NEXT.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Enter as Member Option

Select Member if you have an Adobe Connect username and password

Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Control Guest Entry to the Meeting

The Notification button appears Hosts control guest entry to the ppwhen one or more guests are requesting entry to a restricted meeting.

Adobe Connect Mobile View: Start Sharing

Tap the Share icon, click Start Sharing, and select a available document from the Share History list.

This list displays the last five documents shared in this meeting, that are supported for sharing from mobile.

When you’re sharing content as a host/presenter, you can perform the following actions:

• Advance slides and animations• Sync/Unsync viewing of content• Stop/Start Sharing

Most presentations are in ‘Sync’ by default. Everyone in the room sees the same content. SYNC in blue indicates Sync is on.• TAP SYNC to allow participants to browse through slides or

TAP to select a user in the Attendee Pod. Controls displayed vary, depending on the capabilities of the user’s device. Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Pod and Layout Changes

During the meeting a co-Host working on aDuring the meeting a co Host working on a desktop or laptop computer can change Layouts.

Mobile Hosts and Presenters can tap a pod in the layout to maximize it.


Adobe Connect Mobile View: Raise hands

Connect Mobile displays a handy summary of how many attendees have raised their hands. The participants with raised hands can then be given rights to speak, or asked to submit their question through chat.


Adobe Connect Mobile View: Stop Sharing

TAP STOP SHARING to turn off sharing the current presentation.

Participants see a message Nothing is Being Shared.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Ending the Meeting

Hosts may choose to Log Out of the meeting, Exit the app, or END MEETING to remove allExit the app, or END MEETING to remove all users from this meeting room..

Adobe Connect Mobile View: Focus on Share Pod

TAP an icon in the navigation panel to focus on and interact with a pod.

Here the Share Pod is in focus, and displays the presentation, while other pods are removed from view.

TAP video to focus on the Video Pod. This panel di l l b d i id f d TAPdisplays people broadcasting a video camera feed. TAP the arrow keys, if present, to switch between all active web cam video broadcasts.

TAP the conversation bubble to focus on the Chat Pod.

TAP a chat thread – ‘Everyone’ or a name – to view the conversation details.

TAP the Notes Pod button to focus on notes entered.

TAP within the Notes pod to access the keyboard and TYPE text if the host has given you rights to contribute to the Notes Pod.

If multiple Notes pods are available, TAP the title to change pod focus to a different Note.

Use your fingertip to slide the notes over in order to read the list of titles.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Poll Focus and Participation

TAP the Poll icon to view and participate in polls presented during the meeting.

Three polls are available for input in this example. TAP each poll name, and TAP the buttons or boxes to input answers.

Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Overview and Layouts

During the meeting the host may change all the available pods. This is called a Layout change.

When a host changes Layouts, the view returns to Overview mode. TAP to focus again as desired.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Help and Logout to Exit Meeting

Help and Logout options are always available.

Help is available online. Logout is used to Exit the meeting.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Additional Functions Enabled

The host may enable additional collaboration options: Telephony, Camera and Microphone.Telephony, Camera and Microphone.

On a smartphone, these options appear on a panel on the right.

Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Broadcasting VOIP Audio

Tap the Microphone option to begin broadcasting audio using VOIP.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Active VOIP Broadcast Indicator

A blue Microphone icon displays when you are actively broadcasting audio using VOIP.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Stop Broadcasting VOIP Audio

TAP the blue Microphone icon to display and select the option to Disconnect microphone. This stops the p p paudio broadcast from your device microphone.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Video Broadcasting Enabled and Preview

TAP the Camera option to view a preview of how your device camera broadcast will appear to others in the meetingmeeting.

This option is available only on devices with cameras, and if the host has given you rights to broadcast your camera

TAP the Video icon to view all active video broadcasts.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Stop or Pause Your Video Broadcast

TAP the Camera icon and TAP PAUSE or STOP as desired.

Tap BROADCAST to resume again, or STOP to end your video feed.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Join Telephone Audio Conference

When a telephone conference call has been made available in the meeting, the Telephony option is visible.

TAP Telephony, enter the desired phone number, and TAP CALL MY PHONE.

The meeting calls your phone, eliminating the need to enter most conference codes and passwords.

A blue Telephony icon displays when you are connected to the integrated conference callconference call.

Tap the Telephony icon to MUTE your line, or to HANG UP the call.y ,


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Muted Telephone Conference Connection

A crossed Microphone icon displays when your telephone conference connection is muted.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Unmute Telephone Conference Connection

Tap the Telephony icon to UNMUTE your line, or to HANG UP the call.


Adobe Connect Mobile View: Raise Hand

Attendees can RAISE HAND during the meeting or Agree/Disagree with the presenter/host. When an attendee has raised her hand, the corresponding icon is displayed in blue.


Adobe Connect Mobile View: Focus on Attendee Pod

The Attendees pod displays a list of attendees who have currently raised their hand. The Attendees icon displays at a glance how many attendees have raised their hand.

TAP the Log Out option to log out of this meeting.meeting.
