ADMISSION PROCEDURE i. NICMAR Common Admission Test (NCAT) is of two hours duration. NICMAR Common Admission Test (NCAT): The test covers 150 marks. Each question carries one mark. The exam is of general kind of aptitude test on Quantitative & Analytical Ability, Data Interpretation and Verbal & General Ability. This is like CAT/MAT examinations. You can refer similar guides/books available in the market for preparing for such general management entrance examinations. Sample questions are attached herewith. ii. Personal Interview (PI): You should be presentable and conduct yourself as per prescribed PI norms. Personal Interview (PI) covers 50 marks 2. Please reach Delhi NCR (Bahadurgarh) a day before the date given to you for Selection Process. Visit the campus so that you can feel relaxed next day morning. 3. There are vacant hostel rooms available in the Delhi NCR (Bahadurgarh) campus itself on payment of 500/- to 700/- per day (as room charges on twin sharing basis) and food charges of Rs. 220/- per day shall be extra. Booking will be done on 1 st come and 1 st served basis. Also, few hotels and guest houses are available in Bahadurgarh; which are well connected to campus through private buses. Uber and Ola can also be used as a means to commute to the institute. 4. Campus has a functioning canteen and tuck shop; which will be open during regular working hours of the Institute, in addition to the mess facility. 5. The campus is about 45 to 50 kilometres (depending on route) away from New & Old Delhi Railway Station and ISBT Kashmere Gate, and about 40 kilometres from Domestic Airport Delhi (via Najafgarh). 1. ADMISSION PROCEDURE

i. NICMAR Common Admission Test (NCAT) is of two hours duration.

NICMAR Common Admission Test (NCAT): The test covers 150 marks. Each question carries one mark. The exam is of general kind of aptitude test on Quantitative & Analytical Ability, Data Interpretation and Verbal & General Ability. This is like CAT/MAT examinations. INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES

1. Write your Registration Number, Test Center and Date in the space provided in the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) Sheet.

2. Time allotted is two hours only.

3. Immediately after opening the Test Booklet, verify that all the pages are printed properly and are in order. If there is a problem with your Test Booklet, immediately inform the invigilator. You will be provided with a replacement.

4. Question booklet contains 150 objective type questions:

- Section A: Quantitative and Analytical Ability - 60 Questions (60 Marks) - Section B: Data Interpretation - 30 Questions (30 Marks) - Section C: Verbal and General Ability - 60 Questions (60 Marks)

5. Candidates have to answer in the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) Sheet by darkening the circles using a black/blue ballpoint pen only. Since circles darkened by the black/blue ballpoint pen cannot be erased, candidates should darken the circles in the OMR Sheet very carefully.

6. Each question carries four options. Choose the correct alternative and darken the circle provided in the ‘OMR SHEET’.

7. There is no NEGATIVE MARKING.

8. Attempt all the questions. You are free to attempt questions from any section at any time during the test.

9. Don’t start answering the questions unless the INVIGILATOR instructs you to do so.

10. You are permitted to leave the class only after the invigilator collects the OMR Sheet, question booklet and rough sheet at the end of the test. No candidate is allowed to leave the examination hall, before the scheduled end of the test.

11. Once the test starts, the candidate is not allowed to go outside the examination hall, even temporarily, for any purpose whatsoever.

12. During the test, keep only the Call Letter/Admit Card and black/blue ink ballpoint pen with you. DO NOT KEEP with you books, rulers, slide rulers, drawing instruments, calculators (including watch calculators), pagers, cellular phones, stop watches or any other device or loose paper. These should be left at a place indicated by the invigilator.

13. The candidate is not allowed to exchange any material during the test. Any form of communication among candidates during the test is strictly prohibited.

14. Do not write anything on the question booklet.

15. For rough work use the separate A4 size blank sheet given to you.

16. In the box provided in the OMR Sheet for each answer, write your choice only once. Do not over write or strike off the answer etc. in the circle. Such cases will be treated as null and void.

17. Candidates found violating any of the instructions from instruction no. 9 onwards will be summarily asked to leave the examination hall by the invigilators.

Dear Applicant,

This is with reference to NICMAR Common Admission Test 2020. ‘Registration Number’

is your sole identity during NCAT – 2020. Hence, it is mandatory to fill in your correct

registration number in the answer sheet (OMR Sheet) provided to you in the

examination hall.

Below are the steps you should follow to fill in the registration number in the answer

sheet:

1. Write your 7 digit registration number in square boxes, as shown in the

illustration below (Registration no. 3618749 is used only for illustrative purposes).

2. Darken the digit in Column no.1, corresponding to the first digit of your

registration number (In the illustration, in column no.1, digit 3 is darkened, which

is the first digit of given registration number).

3. Continue this procedure for all the digits of your registration number (Refer to the

illustration shown below. For example, in column no. 2, digit 6 is darkened which

corresponds to the second digit of the given registration number).

4. During examination, you are instructed to fill each answer by fully darkening only

one out of four circles provided as choices.
