TECHNO EDUCATION FOR GLOBAL COMPETENCEDear Sir/ Madam,
NTTF is an ISO 9001-2008 certified Training Institution
established in the year 1963 with Swiss Co-operation which
provides purposeful need based quality education to Indian
youth.
NTTF is a not for profit organisation providing employability
to the youth of India. NTTF started its first Training Centre
in Nettur, Kerala in the year 1959. We celebrated our
Golden jubilee in November, 2009. NTTF now, provides
Vocational Training in various disciplines through
its Thirty Training Centres located in the States of Kerala,
Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra,
Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and Sikkim.
The above centres offer diploma courses/training in diverse
areas such as Tool & Die Making, Electronics, Mechatronics,
Computer Engineering, Information Technology and
Manufacturing Technology. These courses are relevant for
the manufacturing and services sector.
The three year course converts our students to highly
attractive talent for industry. The number of beneficiaries
of NTTF training over the years exceeds 37,000. We have
several of our alumni who are employed and entrepreneurs
not only in India but also in several countries abroad like
Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand,
Malaysia, Singapore, US, Brazil etc.
Most of our students get employment offers in the last
semester of their courses. Our employment record has
been 95% plus. In fact every student who passes with
decent marks is almost assured of employment. We have
about 400 corporate sector employers who come and
recruit from us, many of them regularly.
Besides the above, our other training programmes include
Tailor made programmes for various Industries, Learn &
Earn training model, a unique student-Industry friendly
programme, for industries like, M/s. Ashok Leyland, M/s.
Saint Gobain, etc.
About NTTF Murbad:
Located on a lush green 10 Acres plot, MNTC (Murbad
NTTF Training Centre) was established in 2009 in
association with M/s Technocraft Industries.
Facilities:
Classrooms with audio visual facilities including Video
Conference System (VCS), workshops and labs to acquire
hands on skills, well equipped library & internet facilities to
support quest for knowledge & information are available.
Campus environment supports the holistic development of
trainees. Tablet PCs are given to every student, to support
their curriculum.
Training & Evaluation
Learn while producing and produce while learning.
Continual evaluation with daily, weekly & monthly
assessments, common qualifying exams, centralized
examination cells, etc., are the hallmarks of NTTF’s training
methodology. Co-curricular activities include Medical and
blood donation camps, Sports, Games and cultural
activities, Social clubs and ownership concepts, etc.
Courses offered in Murbad centre:
1. Diploma in Tool & Die Making
2. Diploma in Mechatronics
Diploma in Tool & Die Making:
Three year diploma program followed by 1 year of industrial training. The trainees during the course learn to design and manufacture intricate Press tools, Plastic moulds, Die casting dies, Jigs & Fixtures and Gauges independently. Industrial project work, in association with M/s. Technocraft Industries forms part of this course, during the final year. Diploma in Mechatronics
Three year diploma program designed exclusively to meet
the requirements of the industries dealing with the
maintenance of CNC system, Automaton, AC/DC drives,
Instrumentation, Power electronics & Control systems.
They are also given training in Robotics / PLC / Embedded
System. Industrial project forms part of the course, during
last quarter.
Eligibility Criteria for above courses:
Pass in 10th
std. / SSLC/12th
/PUC/Vocational course with
minimum 35% marks in Science and Mathematics
individually.
Age: Less than 21 years, as on 31.12.2014.
