About managing report profiles

Reports are generated by Report Profiles. A Report Profile is configured with custom settings and a report type. You

must be assigned to an Admin role to create and manage report profiles.

Report profile settingsFrom the settings available, you can customize the data included, the report time period, and how often a report is

generated.

• What is included in the report, which is determined by the OneVue solution.

• OneVue Sense: add Monitored Assets.

• OneVue 72MHz Sync: add Transmitters.

• OneVue Bluetooth Sync: add Bridges, Clocks, and Repeaters.

• OneVue Notify with Critical Notifications: add InfoBoards and Transmitters.

• OneVue Notify with Bell Scheduling: add Bell Controllers and Zones.

• Data fields included and how data is sorted.

By default, each report type has specific fields included. You can optionally remove fields or add available fields.

• Set the time period of data history to include.

Options include reporting on the number of previous days, weeks, months, calendar weeks, calendar months, or a

specific date range (manually generated only).

• Set how often a new report is generated by OneVue.

There are four options including manual, daily, weekly, and monthly. The manual frequency can be set to a specific

date range for several report types.

• Set who receives report notifications.

When a new report is generated, each user receives an email report notification and the notification is listed on their

Dashboard To Do list.

Report period detail

• Period

Start and end date of the sensor data collected and computed.

• Current Min-Max

The sensor’s Normal Condition minimum and maximum setting value. The Normal Condition (range/threshold) is set

to the expected, normal operating condition of its assigned Monitored Asset.

• Mean Temp

The average mean value of the readings for the reporting period; the calculated value of the sum of all readings

divided by the total sample points (readings).

• Currently in Alarm

Indicates if the sensor/Monitored Asset is currently in an active Alarm state.

• Current Alarm Duration

If currently in an Alarm state, it displays how long it has been in the current Alarm state.

• Current Alarm Type

If currently in an Alarm state, it indicates the condition (status) that resulted in the Monitored Asset and sensor

entering the current Alarm state.

• Average Duration of Alarm

The average amount of time in an Alarm state. Data computed includes all Alarm events for the reporting period.

• Percentage of Period in Alarm

Percentage in an Alarm state based on the time computed in the Average Duration of Alarm value. A higher

percentage is a key indicator to investigate and resolve the cause of frequent alarm events.

• Average Per day Above

The daily average of the readings above the maximum threshold (sensor's Normal Condition setting value) for the

reporting period.

• Average Per day Below

The daily average of the readings below the minimum threshold (sensor's Normal Condition setting value) for the

reporting period.

• Average Check-Ins Per Day

The average number of daily check-ins for the reporting period. The daily average of how many times the sensor

checked-in to OneVue for the reporting period. A higher percentage of check-ins may indicate that check-ins are

occurring more frequently due to out-of-range readings.

• Total Ready for this Sample

The total number of readings for the reporting period.

Daily Breakdown for period detail

• Date

Start and end date of the sensor data collected and computed.

• Check-Ins

The total number of check-ins for the specific date.

Page 24: Administration Guide › pdf...About managing report profiles Reports are generated by Report Profiles. A Report Profile is configured with custom settings and a report type. You must

• Account: OneVue account name.

Report details

The report displays a row of each of the Alert Rules Teams and who alert notifications are sent to.

For example, if an Alert Rule has three users that receive alert notifications and two other users that receive escalation

notifications, there will be five unique rows displaying the details. If an Alert Rule uses Team scheduling, each shift with

its schedule detail is displayed in a single row.

• Alert Rule Name: Name of the rule.

• Team: Indicates if the Alert Rule uses Team Scheduling. If yes, the Team name is displayed.

• Shift: If assigned to a Team, identifies the shift.

• Schedule: Provides the days and start and end times of the shift.

• Escalation: Identifies if the user listed in the next column (Users) is included in the Alerts Go To setting (user receives

alert notifications) or the Escalate To and Escalate Next settings (user receives escalation notifications).

The Escalation column essentially identifies the type of notification a user receives - either an alert or escalation

notification.

• User: List the user that receives the type of Escalation (either an alert or escalation notification). If a user is assigned

to receive both types, a row will be listed for each type.

• Active: Identifies if the Alert Rule is enabled (Yes) or disabled (No).

Custom day

boundary

Only applies to

the Asset

Summary

Report

Sets the 24-hour time period for each day.

Example of when the Custom day boundary setting would be enabled

Staff reviews the daily Asset Summary Report at 7 AM each morning to confirm no temperature excursions had occurred

overnight. By default, the daily report will include the readings for the previous 24-hour calendar day, which would be from

12:00 AM to 12:00 AM. Since they need to also verify readings from overnight (after 12 PM), the Custom day boundary

setting is needed to be enabled and the 24 hour time period would be set 8 AM to 8 AM to confirm no temperature

excursions had occurred overnight. With this configuration, the daily Asset Summary Report would then include all readings

logged starting at 8 AM of the previous day to 8 AM of the day the report is generated.

Additional consideration: sensor check-in frequency

To ensure reports include all logged readings for the specified 24 hour period, the sensor's Check-in Interval frequency must

be set to 1 hour. When set to 1 hour, all logged readings are sent to OneVue hourly. By default, this setting is set to every 8

hours. When set to a 1 hour Check-In frequency, Primex recommends a sensor is powered by AC or PoE.
