    Below is the task which BO Admin performs in his day to day activity.

    Level 1 User Creation

    User access issues

    User termination requests

    Password resets

    Monitoring all DB services

    Testing the availability of all Universe connections to respective Databases

    Post announcements to BO logon page

    Checking reports staus

    Re-run failed report if required

    Report, universe, or database connection issues

    Coordinate with EBI Run team for any Data Load issues

    Monitoring server load

    Monitoring Active Tomcat session

    Update database connections and passwords

    Monitoring alearts and take appropriate steps

    Restart BO Services

    Tomcat start/stop

    Monitor heath of all BOE services on daily basis

    Level 2 CMS repository issues

    Backup issues

    Backward Migration of Reports/Universes

    Forward Migration issues for Reports or Universes

    copy/move reports from one users Inbox/Favorite folder to another

    Dashboard Issues

    Reboot server

    Contact SAP support for level 2 issue

    Tomcat and BO server monitoring

    Creating Public folder/Categories and security set up

    Troubleshoot user issues

    BO Client access and installation issues

    Creating Events

    Creating Calendars

    Installation issues (Java deployment, .Net deployment)

    Monitoring BO Licences and Transfer issues

    New Univerese development / modification

    Application and system log review

    Authentication issues: (Various issues related to users login and users not able to access their

    reports etc)

    BO application access issues

    Application and system Log review and troubleshoot

    Infoview issues

    Scheduling issues (not able to schedule the reports)

    Report performance issues

    Creating Access Level

    Troubleshooting the issues by taking the various kinds of traces.

    Report display issues (Crystal Reports specific, WebI and DeskI specific)

    Connectivity issues

    Performance issues (such as reports taking long time to run etc)

    Networking issues (no connectivity between the servers etc)

    Stability issues (Report showing random behavior some times failing and some times success

    etc)

    Migration issues (various issues related to migration from older version to new version etc)

    Removing access of Report/Report folder/Universe/Universe Folder

    Decommissioning of Report/Report folder/Universe/Universe Folder

    Creating/Modifying user security on Application level

    Level 3 Installation BO Software

    Deploy Fix Packs

    Set up or modify security parameters in CMC

    Reportissue

    Manage BO Services in CCM

    OBDC issues, Data Connectivity issues thru ODBC, Database connection changes

    Deploy Services Packs

    Periodically monitoring the Entire Deployment and improving the performance of the system.
