Undo will change the account from registered to pre-registered. Change Status will change the type of account, referred, clinical, recurring, etc. Maintenance will flag a patient as Confidential. The first screen you will see when opening up Meditech will be similar to the screen below. Highlight Registration Management Desktop and press Enter. The next screen will come up. (See next page.) On the right side of the screen is a list of the tasks you can choose to do. Schedule, Pre- Register, Register, Edit, Fix and Undo are among the tasks listed there.

OUTPATIENT & INPATIENT ROUTINES FIX, UNDO, CHANGE STATUS, MAINTENANCE

Fix will change the date, time or location of a registered account. Undo will change the account from registered to pre-registered. Change Status will change the type of account, referred, clinical, recurring, etc. Maintenance will flag a patient as Confidential. The first screen you will see when opening up Meditech will be similar to the screen below.

Highlight Registration Management Desktop and press Enter. The next screen will come up. (See next page.) On the right side of the screen is a list of the tasks you can choose to do. Schedule, Pre-Register, Register, Edit, Fix and Undo are among the tasks listed there.

FIX: Click on Fix.

You can search for the account you want to fix by name, by account number, by Medical Record number, by SS#, by birth date, by Phone number, by insurance policy number and by Electronic Medical Record number. By name:

Press Enter: All accounts for that name will be displayed.

Highlight the account you want to fix and press Enter.

The Account will be brought up.

Make the changes to Service Date, Time and/or location and click on Save.

Click on Yes, if you are sure. Meditech will make the changes. If you look this patient up again, you will see the change has been made.

UNDO: Click on Undo Enter the search criteria.

These searches could result in a list of accounts to choose from.

Highlight the account you want to Undo, and press Enter. This screen will appear. Select OK to begin the Undo process.

A new screen will appear.

Complete the Undo this Event and Comment fields.

Then press Okay. This will put the account in a Pre state.

CHANGE STATUS: Click on Change Status

Choose either Change SCH/PRE or Change IN/INo. Enter the search criteria.

The search could result in a list of accounts to choose from.

Highlight the account you want to Change Status and press Enter.

This screen will appear.

Enter the new status and location. Then press Save.

This will now be a Pre Ed account.

MAINTENANCE: Click on Maintenance. Choose VIP/Confidential and enter search criteria.

Press Enter or click on OK. The search could result in a list of accounts to choose from.

Highlight the account you want to flag, and press enter. Type Y in the Confidential field and click on Save.

Note the Confidential flag before Mickey’s name.
