We exist to save species from extinction and connect people with nature and as part of our conservation efforts we run Adelaide and Monarto Zoos.
We rely on the generous support from the community to care for endangered animals, undertake research and conservation programs and delight and educate zoo visitors.
Zoos South Australia is a not-for-profit zoo-based conservation charity.

Bamboo Forest Ceremony
Add to your zoo experience!Entertain your guests and celebrate your day with some of our feathered or furry friends!
• Take a walk on the wild side with a personal informative guided tour of the Zoo with our knowledgeable Volunteer Guides. Tours take approximately 1 hour with one guide per 10 people, and the cost is just $3 per person.
• Experience an animal encounter with a keeper who• comes to you! You will come face to face with some• of our cuddly (and scaly!) residents. While you are• having your photos, your guests could be sharing• their cocktails with a stick insect, a quokka, or having• an encounter with a friendly snake! Cost is $300 for
2 keepers up to 50 guests, $450 for 3 keepers up to 100 guests, $600 for 4 keepers for 100-200 guests.

These fun and surprising cards are tax deductible and funds go towards caring for the 3,000 plus animals in our care. The Zoo Shops also offer a great range of options including magnets, stubby holders and key rings. For the kids there is a range of puzzles and books, go online or visit the shop to view the range.

Wedding PhotographyEven if you’re not holding your ceremony at the Zoo – you still have the chance to enjoy our unique and stunning garden locations for your photos!
Package includes• Cost: $350• Allows up to 12 people plus your photographer
to access to the Adelaide Zoo for up to 1.5 hours (+$10 for each additional person).
• Available 3pm until 7pm on any day• Note: Some animals have access to their night
quarters from 4.30pm and will not be on display.• Includes Adelaide Zoo tour host to guide you to
the perfect photo locations.• Animal encounters can be arranged upon
request, subject to availability (such as giraffe feeding).
Photography Package Conditions:• The duration of the photography session must be adhered to,
maximum time in the Zoo grounds is 90 minutes (1.5 hours)• No areas are to be excluded to the General public during
opening hours and no inconvenience to any other patrons is permitted
• Photographs to be used for private consumption only and cannot be used for commercial purposes
• Catering may be supplied for the duration of the photography session – prices separate to hire costs.

Package 1 - $1,400Please be advised that availability for your guests on the bus tours following the ceremony are not guaranteed.
Package 2 - $1,600Guide will be provided for one hour tour for up to 50 people with own bus. Additional guide for additional buses are $200 for the one hour tour.
Package 3 - $2,000Pricing includes up to 56 guests on Monarto Zoo bus with guide for a one hour tour.
