The Italian Technology Exhibition

The Italian Technology Exhibition is an itinerant show organized by AAIIC (Association of the

Italian Scholars in China) aimed to enhance the awareness of Italy as a leading manufacturing

country.

The exhibition has three well-defined goals, and they are:

1. Increase the awareness of Italy as a

country with a strong technological

background (Italy is not just the place

of culture and art)

2. Create a network with Scholars and

Researchers to develop joint R&D

projects (Italians create innovation)

3. Attract the interest of young talents for Italian companies (Italy is great place to work)

The Companies

There are 26 companies participating at the exhibition and for

each of them there is a poster describing their technologies, the

related applications, explaining also how their technologies

have contributed to the development of China.

In particular each poster contains three sections: the history of

the company, the product or process and the vision about the

future.

The posters have been prepared by a professional team of

designers, using images and data provided by each company.

At the current date (September 2017), 26 companies are part

of the exhibition and they are (in alphabetical order):

The Exhibition

The exhibition is hosted by Chinese universities in

different cities of China.

In each University the exhibition stays about 1 week

and ideally the show starts with a launch event with

the participation of the companies and of the Italian

institutions.

The exhibition, which is also supported by a special

section of the website of the Association of the

Italian Academics (http://www.aaiic.org/), is designed to use different layouts and type of

spaces, and it can be combined with different initiatives: workshops and conferences, career

days and promotional events.

Sponsorship and Patronage

The cost of the Exhibition has been covered by the

participating companies and by the sponsorship of the

Italian Trade Commission (ICE).

The Exhibition received also the Patronage of the Italian

Embassy in Beijng
