S.V.LOGISTICS was established in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh in 2007 and started the activity at Kakinada, Visakhapatnam, Gangavaram and Krishnapatnam ports as a ship chandler to meet the growing needs of domestic and foreign ship owners. Andhra Pradesh. In marine and offshore fields Kakinada is one of the fast growing

industrialized cities in India. The company was established and incorporated in the year

2007 by a professional who is well versed with ‘IMO’ and ‘SOLAS’ regulations and has 13

years of vast experience in the field of marine diesel engines, hydraulics and deck

machinery, refrigeration and AHU, welding and fabrication, electrical and electronics ,

cargo gear and ship chandling etc.

The company comprises of engineers from various disciplines who have extensive exposure

in carrying out repairs of any nature and who are available round the clock to sort out defects

& snags onboard vessels calling onto Indian/overseas ports.

The name and business strength that has earned by this organization today, is due to its

professional approach and the cause with professionally qualified & trained service engineers

at our own premises and with varied experience of the domestic & international market with

good knowledge of serving the customer to their fullest satisfaction.

We are proudly announcing that we have workshop divisions for particular jobs. In each division we have adequate manpower and experienced engineers and technicians.

STEEL RENEWAL, WELDING AND FABRICATION DIVISION

We can undertake the steel renewals and repairs onboard vessel using tested and certified “IS 2062 GR B” plates (equivalent Lloyd GR-A plates) high tensile steel (equivalent to AH/NV 32 grade steel plates). WPS (Weld Procedure Specification) & PQR (Procedure Qualification Record) can be prepared and submitted for the approval of class authorities.

We are experienced to carry out repairs on hatch covers, coamings etc under class regulation. We have the experience of undertaking major steel renewals, pre-dry dock work, post dry dock work and valves repair.

We also have with us the thickness gauging team approved by class surveyors. We can undertake any repairs / renewals of the deck and engine room pipe lines like F/W, S/W, fire

line, ballast line, scuppers line, hydraulic lines, fuel lines, compressed air lines etc using carbon steel seamless pipe (sch. 40, sch. 80 etc.) And g.i/erw pipes.

Also the regular voyage repairs like renewals of cat walk, walk ways, platforms, coamings, hatch cover(pantoons), Mushrooms type air vents, Ball type air vents, Goose neck type air vents etc. , Accommodation ladder , Gang way ladder, Crane platform, renewal of break band liners of anchor windlass and mooring winches etc.

MAIN ENGINE & AUXILIARY ENGINE DIVISIONS

We can undertake major and top overhauling of engines. We have worked on all make and models of most of the leading manufacture engines which is used as marine propulsion plant as well power generator onboard the ship.

SULZER, MAN, B&W, B&WALPHA, WARTSIILA, DETTROIT, NIIGATA, YANMAR, CATTERPILLAR, DAIHATSHU, DEUTZ, BERGEN, PIELSTICK, CREPELLE, HANSHIN, MWM, CUMMINS, NIISIN, ASHOK LEYLAND, VOLVO, PERKINS etc., are the few example of the engines.

We can supply engine spare parts as required by the ship as well as shipping agents and principles.

ELECTRICAL DIVISION

We can undertake the job of motor overhauling, re-winding, varnishing and reconditioning of motors of 0.5 kw to 200 kw (a. c and d.c motors) of 110v, 220v, 440 v using H class and F class insulation. We sale the new as well as reconditioned electric motors of all rating. We can undertake the job of recondition of motors bearing housing, renewal of bearings and alignment of motors.

We can also work on alternators of 5 KVA to 350 KVA capacities, step up and step down transformers.

HYDRAULIC WORK DIVISION

We can undertake the hydraulic machinery jobs like overhauling and repairing of hydraulic pumps and motors. Hydraulic load balancer and capillary line rectification. Hydraulic water tight doors and steering gear power pack units. We can troubleshoot, repair and maintain the cranes, mooring winches, steering gear system, anchor windlass, capstan, cargo grabs, hatch cover lifting gear.

We have worked on typical hydraulic equipments viz., winch / windlass-MITSUBISHI, NORWINCH, IHI, FUKUSHIMA STEERING GEAR SYSTEM-MITSUBISHI, TONG MYUNG (KAWASAKI), HATLAPA, CRANES- IHI, BLN, NOR CRANE, HAGGLUNDS, LIEBHERR.

ACCOMODATION WORKS (PLUMBING, CARPENTRY, UPHOLSTER)

We can undertake the accommodation plumbing, carpentry works in super structure and cabin (cabin doors lock repair and renewal, wooden gratings, furniture repair and new fabrication also, alteration job ) upholstery work like door and window curtains, sofa and chair covers using leather, rexine, cloth and motor canvas.

AIR COMPRESSOR AND AIR STARTER DIVISION

We can undertake air compressor and starter air motor job also. We have experienced engineer to rectification and overhauling of such compressors and starters. We have attended SPERRE, HAMWORTHY, TANABE, HATLAPA, YANMAR compressor and starter of TDI.

PUMP OVERHAULING AND RECONDITIONING DIVISION

We can undertake pump overhauling and reconditioning job. We have attended DESMI, NANIWA, SHINKO, TAIKO, HAMWORTHY, HEISHIN, IRON, BE PUMPS.

Reconditioning of pump, metal pasting and casing calibration is our speciality.

TURBOCHARGER DIVISION

We can undertake turbocharger repairing job with speciality and as per OEM. We have an expert team to attend the turbocharger job. We have done ABB, MAN B&W, MITSUBISHI, NAPIER, IHI turbochargers with full of customer satisfaction.

SAND AND GRIT BLASTING DIVISION

We can undertake the sand blasting job also. We have our own team to attend the grit/sand ballasting job as specified i.e. SA 1.0, SA 2.0, SA 2.5, SA 3.0.

SHAFTING & STERN TUBE BUSH

We are enabled to do Shaft alignment, extracting & re-fitting of the propeller shaft, machining of propeller shaft, fitting of stern tube bush & seals. To remove & re-fit the rope guard & D.P & N.D.T Testing of propeller shaft & propeller blades. Building up & machining of propeller blades with al-bronze, mg-bronze & with any other alloy.
