galleries, including Exposition
Hall. Within the permanent ex-
hibits are meeting areas where
students may view films on the
Shawnee, Battle of Piqua and ear-
ly Clark County as well as partici-
pate in discussions or group ac-
tivities.

Docent guided tours
An Unforgettable Journey
School tours, lasting 1½ to 2 hours, may be scheduled
Tuesdays through Fridays and are free of charge. All
tours are customized to fit the curriculum needs and time
constraints of individual teachers and may include hands
on activities. Emphasis is placed upon meeting multiple
academic content standards for Social Studies, as well as
components of English language arts, mathematics, and
science. Docents are also available to assist students with
individual learning assignments during after
school hours and on Saturdays. We welcome
your visits and look forward to serving area stu-
dents, educators, and families.
