Adding  Panopto  Focus  Block  to  your  Moodle  Course    

1. Sign  into  Moodle  by  visiting  moodle.haverford.edu  using  your  Haverford  username  and  password.    

 

   2. Once  you  are  signed  into  Moodle,  select  your  course  from  the  “My  Moodle  

Courses”  or  from  the  Course  Overview  list  that  you  would  like  to  add  the  Panopto  Focus  block  to.    

 

 

 3. When  viewing  your  Moodle  course,  click  the  “Turn  editing  on”  button  at  the  top  

right  corner  of  the  screen.      

     

 4. Once  editing  is  turned  on,  scroll  to  the  bottom  of  the  page  where  you  will  see  a  

“Blocks”  category.    Click  on  the  dropdown  menu  and  select  “Panopto  Focus.”    

   

             

5. Once  you  select  to  add  the  “Panopto  Focus”  block,  it  will  appear  on  the  bottom  right  of  your  page.    Click  on  the  gear  icon  under  the  Panopto  Focus  text.    

 

   6. Click  on  Add  this  course  to  Panopto  (re-­‐add  to  sync  user  lists).      

           

7. Once  you  click  Add  this  course  to  Panopto  (re-­‐add  to  sync  user  lists),  you  will  see  a  page  showing  that  you  have  successfully  added  your  course  to  Panopto  Focus.    Click  “Back  to  config.”  

 

   8. When  the  next  page  loads,  click  Save  Changes.    

 

9. You  will  now  see  that  your  Panopto  Focus  block  is  configured.    Recordings  you  have  made  using  Panopto  Recorder  will  now  appear  in  this  block.
