NOTICE TO ALL CONTRACTORS SUBMITTING BIDS FOR THIS WORK AND TO ALL PAN HOLDERS: You are hereby notified that this Addendum No. Two is issued to clarify, add, delete, correct and/or change the contract documents to the extent indicated and is hereby made a part of the above noted contract documents on which the contract will be based. Any modifications/changes made by this addendum affect only the portions or paragraphs specifically identified herein; all remaining portions of the proposal to remain in force. It is the responsibility of all bidders to conform to this addendum. Acknowledge receipt of this addendum in the space provided on the bid form. Failure to do so may subject Bidder to disqualification.
A. CHANGES AND/OR CLARIFICATIONS: Item One (1) REVISION: Division 00 Procurement and Contracting Requirements, Special Conditions – Replace in its entirety Section 3 Contract Time, Liquidated Damages, Items 3.1 Contract Time and 3.2 Milestones to read as follows: 3.1 Contract Time The Contract Time for the Contractor’s Substantial Completion
of the Work is Eighty-Six (85) Calendar days after the date for commencement of the Work as set forth in the Notice to Proceed issued by or on behalf of the District to the to the Contractor. The anticipated Notice to Proceed date of October 17, 2019
3.2 Milestones

Item Two (2) REVISION: Specification Section 27 41 16 – Replace in its entirety Section 1.05 B, Item 3 Video to read as follows:
a. Provide direct-view LED display, video-wall processor, backing,
accessories, and spares as recommended by the manufacturer
(typically 5%). Provide factory commissioning and check out for
acceptance. Refer to master quote and contact information below:

e. Provide the following connections at the lectern: USB (for charging only),
HDMI, DisplayPort, two data jacks and VGA with analog audio.
f. Provide cable retractors.
g. Install an Owner-furnished PC onto the lectern monitor arm.
h. Provide document camera.
i. Provide wireless presentation systems.
j. Provide lecture capture system.
k. Provide multi-window processor for the lecture capture system. Set presets
so that users can recall them on touch panel controller.
l. Provide PTZ cameras. Three of the cameras will capture a section of the
whiteboards in front of the lecture hall. One camera will be used for capturing
the instructor. One camera will capture the audience.
m. Program the cameras for specific preset functions.
n. Provide a camera system that automatically tracks instructors. Include the
following capabilities:

• Create detection zones. As instructors move into each zone, the
camera will follow them.
• Orient both tracking sensors so that the tracking planes are inclined
and completely cover the lecture hall instructor well.
o. Provide an HDMI distribution amplifier.
p. Provide an AV bridge.
q. Provide USB transmitter and receiver.
r. Provide confidence monitor. Confidence monitor will show the video that is
currently showing on the videowall and/or an instructor self-view.
s. Provide wall mount for the confidence monitor.
Item Three (3) REVISION: Specification Section 27 41 16 – Replace in its entirety Section 1.05 B, Item 4 Control to read as follows: 4. Control
a. Programming of the control systems is to be provided by a specialized 3rd party firm under the contract and management of the AV contractor.
b. Specialty control is to include integration of video bridge system and peripherals, Zoom collaboration and peripherals, and all the functionality associated with the audiovisual systems in the project.

c. AV contractor is to provide the control hardware and connection to all devices that will be controlled.
d. Provide basic control of systems to demonstrate proper connectivity between the control system and controlled devices.

e. Coordinate with 3rd party control systems programmer for the scheduling of the hardware deployment, the testing of the basic program and connectivity, and the deployment of the final control code, testing, and commissioning.
f. Provide controller.
g. Provide touch panel controllers. Controls shall include, but are not limited to, display on/off, video layout selection, input source selection, program audio volume control, lighting controls and microphone volume control. Users will have presets so that the LED videowall can be divided up into a single image, side-by-side, three across or four video feeds. Any input into the matrix switcher can be sent to any of the preset areas above. The touch panels will mirror each other in appearance and functionality. Add additional ability to mute control room microphone in the touch panel in the control room.
h. Integrate the control system with the lighting control system.

Item Four (4): Comment: Has the structural engineer addressed the video wall weight? Based on the Video Wall Vendor, the install weight of the total panels will be 1600 pounds. Response: The LED AV wall per Detail 11/S-301 was designed to support total of 120 panels (max. total weight of 1600 lbs.). Note that Sheet S-301 was approved by DSA as part of the Contract Documents. Item Five (5): Comment: Will the contractor be required to have the drawings stamped by a structural engineer? Response: All the structural drawings (S-001, S-141, and S-301) were stamped by ATI Architects + Engineers structural engineer – Robert Riegel and were approved by DSA as part of the Contract Documents.
