SHOULD UNCHARTED OR INCORRECTLY CHARTED PIPING OR OTHER UTILITIES BEENCOUNTERED DURING EXCAVATION, CONSULT THE ARCHITECT IMMEDIATELY FOR DIRECTIONS AND PROCEDURE. COOPERATE WITH OWNERAND UTILITY COMPANIES IN KEEPING RESPECTIVE SERVICES AND FACILITIES IN OPERATION. 20. REMOVE DEBRIS, RUBBISH AND OTHER MATERIALS RESULTING FROM DEMOLITION OPERATIONS FROM BUILDING SITE. TRANSPORT ANDLEGALLY DISPOSE OF OFF SITE. PROVIDE THE OWNER THE RIGHT OF FIRST REFUSAL.

21. ALL DEMOLITION WORK INDICATED ON THE DEMOLITION PLANS SHALL BE FIELD VERIFIED BY THE CONTRACTOR PRIOR TO COMMENCINGWORK.

22. RELOCATION OF ANY ITEMS INVOLVED IN THE WORK IS SUBJECT TO THE CONTRACTOR'S ABILITY TO DO SO WITHOUT PERMANENTLYDAMAGING OR MARRING THE ITEMS TO BE RELOCATED. IF THE CONTRACTOR IS UNABLE TO RELOCATE ANY ITEMS AS PRESCRIBED HEREIN,THEY SHALL CONSULT THE ARCHITECT FOR DIRECTION. SAFELY STORE MATERIAL TO BE REUSED UNTIL TIME OF INSTALLATION.

23. THE ACT OF RELOCATING OR SALVAGING ANY ITEM SHALL BE DONE SO WITHOUT DAMAGING THE IN PLACE ITEM FROM ITS ORIGINAL STATEOF BEING WHICH INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO ITS FINISH, ITS APPEARANCE, ITS FORM, OR FUNCTION OF THE ITEM TO BE RELOCATED ORSALVAGED. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BRING TO THE IMMEDIATE ATTENTION OF THE ARCHITECT OF ITEMS SCHEDULED TO BE REMOVED ORSALVAGED THAT HE HAS DETERMINED IN THE FIELD THAT MAYBE CAUSED HARM OR DAMAGE AS DESCRIBED WITHIN BY DOING SO FORDIRECTION. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT AND SAFELY STORE THE SCHEDULED MATERIAL TO BE REUSED, RELOCATED, ORSALVAGED UNTIL TIME OF INSTALLATION TO BE DETERMINED UNDER THIS CONTRACT.

24. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY DEMOLITION FOR NEW MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, AND ELECTRICAL WORK AS REQUIRED.COORDINATE WITH MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL AND LOW VOLTAGE DRAWINGS FOR RESPECTIVE DEMOLITION AND NEWCONSTRUCTION AND EQUIPMENT COORDINATION. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT ALL STRUCTURAL MEMBERS FROM DAMAGE WHERE WORK ISSCHEDULED IN THAT AREA AND/OR IN RELATED AREAS. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE WITH THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS FOR NEWCONSTRUCTION.

25. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT ALL AREAS OF EXISTING CONSTRUCTION THAT ARE NOT WITHIN THE DIRECT CONSTRUCTION LIMITS. ITSHALL BE THE DIRECT RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO REMEDIATE ANY AND ALL EXISTING CONSTRUCTION THAT ISDAMAGED BY THE DEMOLITION PROCESS BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL STATE.

26. ALL LOOSE FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT TO BE REMOVED BY OWNER, TYPICAL.

27. COORDINATE TEMPORARY PROTECTION AND CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULES WITH THE OWNER/USER.

28. WHERE WALLS ARE REMOVED AT INTERSECTIONS, THE WALL SHOULD BE PATCHED TO MATCH THE ADJACENT SURFACE. SEEARCHITECTURAL AND STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS FOR LOCATIONS.

29. ALL ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL SERVICE LOCATED WITHIN WALLS, CEILINGS, OR FLOORS INDICATED TO BE REMOVED SHALL BE CAPPEDAND REROUTED AS REQUIRED FOR NEW WORK AND BUILDING CONDITIONS AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE CODES, SEE ELECTRICAL,PLUMBING, AND MECHANICAL DRAWINGS FOR SCOPE.

30. REMOVE EXISTING MILLWORK, CASEWORK AND SHELVING IN ITS ENTIRETY. VERIFY SALVAGE AND RE-USE WITH OWNER AND INSTALL INDESIRED LOCATION OR AS INDICATED ON ARCHITECTS DRAWINGS.

31. THE EXISTING PA AND FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS MUST BE MAINTAINED THROUGHOUT CONSTRUCTION, UNTIL THE NEW SYSTEMS AREOPERATIONAL. COORDINATE DEMOLITION OF EXISTING FIRE ALARM WITH PA SYSTEM - SEE ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS.

32. REMOVE EXISTING BUILDING SIGNAGE IN AFFECTED AREAS AND PATCH WALLS AS NECESSARY. TURNOVER SALVAGED MATERIAL TO THEOWNER.

33. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR MAY CHOOSE AT HIS DISCRETION TO PROTECT THE EXISTING FLOOR SURFACE OR NOT, BUT SHALL BE FULLYRESPONSIBLE FOR REMEDIATING THE FLOOR SURFACE BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL CONDITION.
