RECRUITMENT OF ASSISTANTS IN EMPLOYEES’ PROVIDENT FUND ORGANISATION

ADDENDUM

With reference to the Detailed Notice No. Exam.4(1)2019/Assistant Published on

17.05.2019 on the EPFO Website www.epfindia.gov.in, for recruitment to the post of Assistants (Pay

Level-7) in the Employees’Provident Fund Organisation, following Addendum/Amendment is

made:-

i) Wherever the post “Assistants” appears in the Notice, it shall be read as “ Assistants (Now designated as Assistant Section Officer)”.

ii) Under “Age Relaxation” section, after Para 14(iv), the following shall be inserted- v. Ex-Serviceman :

Category Relaxation in upper age limit XS + General 3 years XS+ OBC-NCL

6 years (3 years + 3 years)

XS+SC/ST 8 years (3 years + 5 years)

NOTE-1: An ex- serviceman shall be allowed to deduct the period of actual

military service from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the

maximum age limit prescribed for the post for which he is seeking appointment by

more than three years, he shall be deemed to satisfy the condition regarding age

limit.

NOTE-2: Ex-Serviceman who want to avail relaxation in upper age limit should submit the certificate in Annexure-VII enclosed with this addendum.
