Solution Description
Addedo’s CPM – Cognos Office of Finance Solution (COFS)
offers an integrated application suite for the Office of Finan-
ce built on IBM Cognos software to support the consolidation,
reporting and forecasting processes with ready to use pre-defi-
ned templates and applications. This integrated market leading
suite enables the corporate Office of Finance to manage the en-
tire cycle from forecasting, reporting consolidation and closing.
With speed, quality and accuracy while remaining the owner
of the process. In times of economic stagnation, business ma-
nagers need to be certain about how they use their resources
in order to generate return and ensure survival. Therefore it is
critical for managers to invest time and resources in financial
performance manage-
ment. Financial consolidation
and reporting is one of fundamental
components to managing financial perfor-
mance management. It enables enterprise view
of financial information providing insight and serving as
an alert system to variance from plan.
Group Executive management uses this information to un-
derstand its performance as well as to run its business.
However the challenges facing organizations to co-
llect, process and disseminate validated and trusted fi-
nancial information are putting high pressure on peo-
ple and organizations. To meet these challenges Addedo
offers CPM – Office of Finance Solution (COFS), a modu-
lar integrated application suite for the Office of Finan-
ce to support the Performance Management processes.
This integrated market leading suite enables the corporate
Office of Finance to manage the entire cycle from forecas-
ting, reporting, consolidation and closing. With speed, qua-
lity and accuracy while remaining the owner of the process.
The solution, together with Addedo’s implementation me-
thodology and best practices leverages the existing invest-
ments by coupling with infrastructures such as SAP BW,
Microsoft Office and Sharepoint or existing Databases.
COFS is a modular and scalable solution. Start with just one
model and extend additional functionality as needed.

10. Edo.CashFlowEdo. CashFlow – The Addedo model of creating an automatic and currency converted CashFlow Analysis for all companies within the Group. Edo.CashFlow is developed by combining functionality in Cognos Controller with the Addedo specific concept of how to set up and create a proper CashFlow ana-lysis for international Groups.
8. ARC-ReportingARC Reporting improves CCR or TM1 User experien-ce by using a sophisticated User Interface. Instead of using the limited graphical Data Entry and Data Out-put functionalities of TM1 or CCR clients, we implement ARC Reporting Clients. With ARC Reporting we impro-ve the graphical profile and ease of use dramatically. (Still: a mixture of TM1 and/or CCR Clients together with ARC Reporting Users must be possible, third party Software is a part of this solution).
11. Addedo edo.mobileEdo.Mobile makes IBM Cognos Controller, TM1 or CDM re-ports available on iPad or iPhone. Financial statements or operational information must be available easily on these devices. The users download the reports made available to them and can annotate the reports with the application. Reading a report is usually not enough to help productivity. DLFC (Data Loader for IBM Cognos Controller)The DLFC is an IBM Cognos Controller specific tool to load data from your ERP solution into the IBM Cognos Controller.The user selects, via the DLFC, the period / actuality opened in the IBM Cognos Controller, the companies authorized for him and the form to be filled, and starts the loading process. The selected parameters are transferred to the ERP (feeder system) and the data are read. These are then converted into the desired target structure via the mapping tables and transferred to the IBM Cognos Controller.
7. FAP ManagerThe Edo.FAPManager is an extension to the FAP Manager of IBM Cognos Controller that controls the interface between IBM Cognos Controller and IBM Cognos TM1.
This add-on massively reduces the workload on the ma-nagement of this interface.
6. Comments add inExporting comments directly from Excel to Cognos Controller. Cognos Controller Excel-Link contains the functi-on "cc.fExpVal(....)" which allows values to be effi-ciently exported to Cognos Controller. Unfortuna-tely there is no function for exporting comments. This can now be achieved with the Edo.Put Comment Add-in for Cognos Controller.
9. Edo.ExpressEdo. Express - a package of pre-defined templates built by Addedo that will add value to your Cognos Controller solu-tion. By increasing the ease to analyze financial data in you will use the full potential of your Cognos Controller solution.
5. Job ScedulerIndividual and detailed time scheduling of consolidation jobs in Cognos Controller. In its standard version, the soft-ware permits the scheduling of day-to-day jobs.
In the process of generating accounts, many customers want certain jobs to be carried out at shorter intervals, even hourly. This then means that batch jobs must be entered monthly in a relatively expensive process.
This add-in allows the following jobs to be programmed con-veniently and efficiently: • Consolidation• Currency conversion• Calculation of key figures
