Stephen Fordham, CEO

Stephen has extensive experiencein all aspects of foreign direct investment in Asia. His

coverage includes all corporate, commercial, and financial aspects of investment; as well as corporate governance

advisory work, particularly for joint venture project companies.

With more than 40 years of experience in the shipping and offshore sectors, Stephen has been the managing partner at a

number of international law firms, and is currently serving in an executive role as the chairman of a shipping company.

Additionally, over the last 20 years, Stephen has held and continues to hold directorships on the boards of both private

and listed companies, locally and abroad.

Stephen has an MA in Jurisprudence from Oxford University. He is also a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.

Karen is a Singapore and UK qualified lawyer with over 10 years of experience advising on corporate transactions, various commercial contracts and company secretarial matters. Her specialties include setting up and structuring joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and asset sale and purchase transactions.

In particular, Karen regularly helps private companies prepare for and manage their fund raising, whether it be through equity or debt finance. She has extensive experience in addressing queries from potential investors and lenders, and can be relied upon to offer

practical and commercially-minded advice to help progress the transaction. Her clients value her ability to manage transaction completions both smoothly and within the tightest timelines.

Karen has an LLB (Hon) from the National University of Singapore, and a BSc (Hon) in Business Administration from the University of Wales. She has worked as a corporate lawyer in both Singapore and London.
