“Colton” Graphite and Charcoal illustration done on bamboo paper. Original photo was in color and 4”X6”. Completed composition was 14”X17.”


“Austin Symphony Orchestra” Software: Adobe IllustratorI was given only the body copy text. “Maestro” and “ASO” logo was completed using the pen tool. All background music notes were created from antique sheet music of my own. JFK’s photo was created using only 6 select colors to match my color scheme.


“Be Billie” Software: Adobe Illustrator & Adobe PhotoshopWas given the task of creating a “Pop Art” poster using Billie Holiday. Manipulated the old old photos for clarity and color adjustment as well as fixed some blemishes in the photo. Added remaining background textures and designs using Illustrator brushes I created.

“Healthy Pets”Software: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe IllustratorFour page flier with only 2 colors allowed for the whole project. Each picture was edited for clarity and proper size. Some body copy editing was done to insure a perfect fit for each column and story.


“Digital”Software: Adobe PhotoshopMagazine cover. Original photo of the model had to be cropped out to be placed on the orange backdrop. Special attention was needed because of the wild hair. Also, the original photo of the model was taken with him looking straight forward (no head tilt). This effect was applied using the “puppet warp” tool.


“Fish Farm” Software: Adobe PhotoshopSurreal image created using masking techniques to protect the original files. Added all color shading with digital paint brushes. Created custom brushes for bubbles and lighting.

“Australia Magazine Page” Software: Adobe InDesign & PhotoshopOne page out of a multipage design. Used Photoshop to create the Tasmania lettering with the photo inset. All pages of spread were made with Master pages, numbering, headers, & footers.


“5 Little Duckies” Software: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver”Webpage created and then linked with clickable tags to be used as a home page.Clouds and textures all created and added with Illustrator.
