The Royal Maritime Club

The Royal Maritime club started out as the “Sailors Home Club” back in the 19th Century but nowadays provides not only

memorable functions available to all, but also quality accommodation, much of it already refurbished to a very high standard with an ongoing programme of improvements.

We are already well known and much appreciated for the attention to detail shown in our discussions with the organisers of all types of function from sumptuous wedding receptions, masonic ladies’ (and gentlemens’) nights, leaving parties, charity fundraisers through to informal reunions, Trafalgar night dinner, Burns night dinner dance, Summer ball and post – funeral receptions. In fact most functions and parties can be catered for by our experienced team of professionals in one or more of our versatile function rooms.

What may not be common knowledge is that our banqueting and events side is run as a separate business from the main charity , however all profits are put straight into the central fund to enable the club’s charitable work to continue. This means that anybody is able to hold their function here and also take advantage of our quality guest accommodation at discounted rates.

Package deals are available with wedding breakfasts from £36.50 per person and drink packages from £12.75 per person. There are no hidden charges and you agree an estimate with us before putting down a deposit and signing a contract. Let us work to your budget and make your money stretch further!

In keeping with our naval heritage and charitable status, we offer further discounts to serving members of HM Forces and retired forces veterans using our facilities.
