In are film trailer we are going to be using 2 actors.

One of the actors does A level Drama and has experience in acting, while the other is confident and can add humour to the trailer. There will also be extras in the opening part to the trailer.

Both actors have agreed to be in the film trailer.

I want the actors to be serious when filming, to be concentrating and to add their own style to the trailer. This will be good as it will make me and my partners job easier, and it will also make the film trailer better quality.

Issues that we could face using these is organisation, they might not be available all at the same time and this is a potential issue. This is why we decided only to use 2 actors.The advantages of using these actors is that they are confident and want to act. This helps filming as they will do anything on set that we want them to do.

Actors etc..

The locations that we are going to use is the woods, The reason for using this location is that it fits with are film title which is ‘ Silent Woods’. We will also be filming inside school in a class room, we will need permission to do this, and we will have to ask the head teacher.

We have visited these locations and we do not need permission to use them, as they are near school grounds.

The problems that we may face using this location is that its in a quite public place and there may people walking by, we will have to ensure that nothing else apart from what we film is on show. Another problem maybe the sound, noises from cars etc may effect the sound. We may have to use a quite location or a different area of where we are to stop unneeded noises in the footage. Anything else that I need to consider…

• We need to consider the weather while we filming outside. As we are doing a horror film we would like the weather to be quite dark, misty, foggy etc. This will add affect to the film. If the sun was out and was shinny while filming took place, it would not give the same affect. The difficulties I may face is to get the right day to film as weather is not a predictable thing. I will need to keep looking at weather forecasts etc.

• We also need to consider the clothing for both of the actors, weather they will be wearing casual or a specific type of clothing. We may need to provide props for the film trailer for this to happen.

• Time is also something we need to consider, what time would be better to shot the footage we need, along with what time the actors are available a free to film.
