ACTIVITY PROPOSAL TRAINING WORKSHOP ON THE LSDP I.T. SYSTEM Rationale: Labor Supply Demand Profile (LSDP) was developed to provide periodic information on the available labor supply and labor demand to determine the excess and lack of manpower in a given locality/area. It is a vital report to come up with the labor market analysis, however, said report was generated manually. Therefore, PESOs and FOs find it hard to prepare and submit to the Regional office for consolidation. As response, TSSD-EPWW in coordination with the region’s IT focal person has developed an information technology system for Labor Supply Demand Profile (LSDP) to enhance data collection and employment data processing. Given its new thrusts and directions as well as developments and changes in implementation strategies, the I.T. system for LSDP is imperative to successfully implement the program. Monthly preparation and submission of these data systems is required and forms part of the 2012 Office Performance Commitment and Review . However, the collection, processing and preparation of reports continue to be a problem. To ensure the efficient and coordinated implementation of these data systems, the conduct of this activity is being proposed for the immediate deployment of the system. Objective: To introduce and train participants on LSDP I.T System, particularly in data collection and data generation and to come up with a localized labor market analysis. Expected Outputs: 1. Knowledgeable focal persons on LSDP I.T. System; and 2. Accuracy of data entries, and timely submission of FOs to TSSD. Date /Time: February 3, 2012 / 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Objective:

To introduce and train participants on LSDP I.T System, particularly in data collection and data generation and to come up with a localized labor market analysis.Expected Outputs:

1. Knowledgeable focal persons on LSDP I.T. System; and
