SR. NO DATE EVENT FEEDBACK PICTURE

Asmita Theatre Workshop
In a workshop conducted by Mr. Rahul Khanna, a renowned theatre artist, the Kotharians learnt the significance of theatre to combat all obstacles. The workshop commenced with a beautiful revelation that every person from a guard employed in our security, a housekeeping staff taking care of our health and hygiene , a teacher who selflessly trains us to a gallant soldier who safeguards us is truly worthy of our love , care and respect. He also explained that there are two kinds of people – World-driven and Self-driven, and one must choose to be self-driven and walk his own paths to contribute in the making of an undisputed world. He encouraged students to come up with the issues of our society that call for an immediate remedy, and enlightened them to the fact that theatre, monologues and street plays can be efficient tools to battle these issues.

Educational Trip To Agrasen Ki Bauli for grade 7
Learning lies in going beyond
our classrooms and exploring
the world around. To drive the
aforementioned learning
objectives, Grade 7 students
were taken on an educational
field trip to UgrasenkiBaoli and
JantarMantar. They learnt about
the significance, history and
make of both places , and also
how they were brought in use
by the people of that time.
Students learnt that it is
believed to have been
constructed by the legendary
king Ugrasen and was rebuilt
between 13 and 14 centuries. It
was used for bathing and
agricultural purposes by the
commoners of that era.
However, with the baoli going
dry now, students were made to
ponder over the misusage of
water and its scarcity in the
bygone as well as present time.
They were also sensitized
towards the dire need of
learning ways to save water.
