This introduction to camp will include a morning filled with age-appropriate crafts, games, and songs with our well-trained staff. Campers will enjoy exploring their creativity, while making new friends! This travel day camp takes you on a week of adventure as you explore the best the Bay Area has to offer. Activities may include: sports, games, field trips, swimming, and events. In addition to these activities camp will focus on team building and leadership activities. pRe-baLLetChildren learn essential technique as they act and dance stories, listen to and clap the rhythms of classical music, learn how to stretch and balance, pretend, imagine and improvise while having lots of fun. Ongoing monthly registration for those classes that are full, registration for new students starts the 16th of each month for the following month. baLLet, HuLa & tapThis is a great introduction to rhythm and movement! During class the younger students transform from tapping alligator to graceful cats & dogs and many other fun characters. Judo Location: Kenilworth Recreation Center

Judo is a Martial Art that was developed in Japan from Jujitsu in the late 19th century. Judo translates to the “gentle way” and teaches the principle of flexibility in the application of technique. This includes the efficient use of balance, leverage, and movement in the performance of Judo throws and other skills. Learn skill, technique, and timing, rather than the use of brute strength to overcome a stronger opponent. All students must register with USJA or USJF. This is an annual membership required for all studetns to practice Judo at our club and also for insurance, promotions and to compete in tournaments. Promotions will be based on student’s commitment and ability and will not be required to take any “tests” but based on the traditional method of promotion as practiced in Japan. Tiny ToTs PreschoolThe program provides a safe nurturing environment to grow and learn. Your child is offered the opportunity to learn social skills, gain self-confidence, form friendships and gain the necessary skills to prepare them for kindergarten. In an age appropriate environment, they will develop fine & gross motor skills and expressive language. Educational presentations and fieldtrips are also provided.
