TheatreRelax indoors with the whole family in our intimate theatre, which is available by reservation. Settle into our plush sofas and watch a movie of your choice — we’ll gladly set it up for you. Rent theatre for up to 3 hours for $50, by contacting Guest Services to reserve.
Whiskey TastingFridays, 9:00pmVisit the 19th Pub for a sampling of five craft whiskeys — mostly bourbons. Learn how each is made and what contributes to their distinctive characteristics. $35 per person.
Single Malt Scotch TastingSaturdays, 9:00pmSip premium spirits at our single malt Scotch tasting in the 19th Pub. Sample tastes of five different single malt Scotches, from light and delicate to peaty and robust. $35 per person.
Chef’s Table SpecialFebruary 18 - March 3A winter window into Primland’s kitchen, from the warmth of element’s very own Chef’s Table. Enjoy a four-course tasting menu, with cuisine to match the season, at our Chef’s Table, for a two-week only rate of $95 per person. Beverages (including wine pairing), tax, and gratuity not included.
DININGValentine’s Day DinnerSpend an evening full of love with that special someone at Primland. Enjoy a 4-course menu in Elements followed by a complimentary StarWalk in our observatory. Reservations required. $85 per person, wine pairing options separate.

Primland Mobile AppWhether you are planning your next stay at Primland or you are a current guest, you will find our new, free mobile app makes everything easy to manage. In addition to providing information about our 12,000-acre Blue Ridge Mountain resort, the app provides access to other helpful services including concierge, housekeeping, wake up call, transportation and getting around.

Nightly Stargazing (weather permitting)8:00pm & 9:30pm Wednesday to Saturday onlyThe sky is truly the limit at Primland. You are invited to take a tour of the universe in our state of the art observatory dome using the latest technology for stargazing and astrophotography. On clear nights, the roof of the dome slides back to reveal the night sky above. Using a combination of traditional naked eye and advanced telescope viewing, you will explore the beautiful winter sky and extraordinary deep space objects visible from our dark location away from city lights. Blankets are provided for the duration of the tour. Additionally, we recommend bringing a warm coat, gloves, and something to keep your head warm. Cost for this activity is $35/person, no charge for children under 10. Stargazing tours operate Wednesday–Saturday in January (weather permitting) and are subject to capacity limits. Consider planning your initial reservation for your first night at Primland. If it is cloudy, the tour will be cancelled and you will not be charged. Guests staying for additional nights are able to transfer their reservation to another night provided there is availability. To make advance reservations, contact the Front Desk at (276) 222-3940 or email [email protected]. Please check in at the Front Desk of the Lodge at your scheduled reservation time to meet your guide.

SPORTS AND FITNESS
Interpretive HikeThursdays, 1:00pm (Weather permitting) Join a Primland guide on this complimentary informative hike through the Primland grounds. Must sign up by one hour prior to hike. Meet in the Lodge Lobby.
Upland HuntsUpland hunting is one of Primland’s longest standing traditions. An Orvis-endorsed wingshooting lodge since 1990, Primland’s highly trained and attentive staff will guide you across the majestic Blue Ridge landscape in pursuit of the land’s hard flushing, flighty birds. You can also challenge yourself to pheasant hunting, as well as targeting bobwhite quail and chukar for additional shooting opportunities. Three-hour Upland Guided hunts are available September through April.
Bow and Air Rifle RangeTest your aim at our newest activity. The range is under cover, allowing you to take advantage of this family friendly fun even in the event of inclement weather. $80 for an hour for 1-2 people and $40 per person for each additional person. Reservations required. Call ext. 3835.
GolfBetween December and March, the Highland Course will be open at the golf superintendent’s discretion and under amenable weather conditions. Course maintenance during this time will be limited. Play the course for $50, including cart, available exclusively for guests with overnight accommodations at Primland. For information on instruction and tee times, please contact the Golf Shop at extension 3827, open 10am–4pm.
Complimentary GeocachingFridays, 7:00am – 5:00pm Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunt played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. This fun game of hide-and-go-seek involves using the GPS device to locate hidden canisters, or geocaches. The geocaches may contain little treasures or interesting information.
SpaExperience renewal this season with our Mineral Salt Scrub in The Spa at Primland. Stimulate your rough, dry skin with a mineral scrub. Mineral rich salt crystals exfoliate tied skin, while hydrating oils soothe and refresh while bringing back your natural glow. This 90-minute treatment includes a 60-minute full body massage. Cost is $210.
