Wandering Editors’ Note
As we begin the month of October we look forward to the return of many
winter friends and the beginning of more activities. We think of fall as
growth slowing down, but at Faith it is the beginning of renewal in friend-
ships, Bible studies, fellowship dinners, choir and much more. There are
opportunities to get involved. Look around you and see where you can
serve.

Board of Missions
We thank Joan
Gregory for her
five years of
faithful service of
scheduling bell
ringers for the
Salvation Army.

The 2015 Flower Chart is on the narthex bulletin board. Please fill in the weekends you’d like to sponsor flowers. We still have dates available for remembering a loved one, or honoring a special oc-casion. If you sponsor one ($26), or both ($52) of our Chancel Flow-ers, note on your payment/check that it is for flowers – This helps us deposit your funds into the correct account. Thank you!
School Supplies Needed
I would like to ask the congregation for their gracious donations that help not only teachers, but also reach students and families that cannot afford these supplies. Thank you, Shelly Cope
Please place these items in a box labelled “School Supplies” in the narthex.
Needed: someone to coordinate and schedule volunteers to
ring the bell at "our" Salvation Army Kettle. If you would like to
help, please call Margaret Andrews at 506-747-1098 through
the end of Sept. After Oct. 1st, call 941-637-0630.

call the church office or Linda Daut – 941-655-6993.

“retired” due to illnesses or having moved. Please call

Cookie Walk is coming soon: December 5
Do you have cookies, candies, breads or other desserts that you will be able to bake and donate to the Cookie Walk? Many people in the congregation and community look forward to this event.
This year we are adding a vintage Christmas Sale. As you put away your fall decorations and bring out the Christmas ones, you may want to replace some with new ones. If so, bring the used items (still in good condition) to us on December 4 in the Zalman Hall, or call Doris Hinze.

Ready, Set. Recycle! The 2019 LWML Convention will be in Birmingham, Alabama. To help off-set expenses LWML is promoting a Fundraiser Promotional Program. The LWML is collecting printer cartridges
for recycling. Please save your used cartridges and bring them to Faith. There is a bag on the LWML table in the narthex for collecting the printer cartridges.
The care packages containing personal products and treats are
like treasures from home. Items needed are playing cards,
games and movies are always welcome as are most hygiene
supplies (soaps, deodorant and individually wrapped baby wipes
are high on the list). Please place the items in the box in the
narthex.
If you know of a soldier stationed overseas, give us his/her address, and we can mail a box to them.
Margaret Andrews
If you wish, year round supplies are greatly welcomed: pencils, eraser caps, post-it notes, paperclips, scotch tape, and small dry erase markers
If someone would like to get a gift card, then a card from LTM Party Supply Store would be ap-preciated. They are the only place that has sup-plies for teachers and classrooms. Please give the gift card directly to Shelly Cope.
Our prayer list is on the glass table in the narthex. If you, or
someone you know, would like prayers, (names remain on for
4 wks.), call Doris Hinze at 627-3790 or the office.
