Part I of this book has enabled the readers to have a good knowledge on the base ofScientific Astrology.

Part II will enable the readers to understand and appreciate the logic behind thesystem developed for the scientific Astrology in this book. It will enable the readersto prepare the Destiny Plan. Each destiny event in this plan is an integrated result ofsignificances of three or more houses. These events are predicted making use ofDestiny event formulae which are logic and systematic and proven by extensiveresearch and they are all scientific and accurate.

But, formulae for all events expected to occur in one’s life is not completelyresearched and compiled as the discovery of such formulae will be a continuingeffort as in the case with every science. But the Destiny Plan will definitely empowerthe readers to predict scientifically and accurately the answers to the questions:

“what” specific events are expected to occur in one’s life and

“whether” a partucular event will occur in one’s life or not

But, the reader, will not be able to know “when and how” the events will occur.Without answers to these questions, the readers will not be able to enjoy the benefitsof astrology. So far no scientific system is available to predict the ‘’When and How”Destiny events will occur.

At present, astrologers are making use of their intuition to find the answers tothe ‘when and how” aspect of the Astrological predictions. It is neither scientific nor

accurate and every astrologer cannot be expected to have such an intuitive powerto predict correctly. Therefore, present day astrologers are not able to enjoy therespect from intellectuals and astrology is considered by them as superstitious oneand reject it. The object of this book is to remove the present ill reputation on Astrologywhich is both divine and scientific by offering a scientific and accurate predictivesystem for the occurrence of Destiny events indicating “when and how” they willoccur in one’s life. It is being demonstrated through case study in Part III of thisbook. But before going to Part III, let us look into the system which is going to beused for scientific prediction, and therefore the rest of part II, will deal this aspectextensively. The preparation of the Destiny Plan and Destiny Schedule will also bebriefed at the end of part II. As a base of destiny schedule, vimsoddhari dasa systemand the regular transit of planets (dasa-bhukthi-anthra lords) are integrated by anactivator mechanism which makes the astrological prediction scientific.

�� !�� The Total Potential of events that are expected to occur in the life ofthe native due to all the 9 planets in a horoscope gives the Destiny Plan of the native.

Thus all the events that are expected in the life of the native can be found in thedestiny Plan. It is an exhaustive network of events of life assigned to the 9 planets(Two nodes included). No event in life can be expected to happen if it is not found inDestiny Plan. At the same time, every event in the Destiny Plan need not occur inlife, because every event in the Destiny Plan needs to be triggered by an Activator atan appropriate moment in life. To find out whether an event in one’s life will occuror not the Destiny Plan is to be analysed. If there is a positive and strong indicationfor an event to occur through a group of significators, then the Destiny Schedule isto be used to find out the time of the occurrence of the event.

�� Destiny Schedule is used to predict the time of occurence ofany destiny event accurately and scientifically. Destiny schedule will also be usefulin knowing “How” the Destiny event will be occurring in the life of the native. ThusDestiny schedule is a new discovery to have answers to “When” and “How” aspect ofthe Astrological predictions and this system is unique and proved to be totally scientificand accurate. The system used to prepare the destiny schedule is integrating

� Vimshoddhari Dasa System and� Natural Planetary Transitswhich are the two bases of scientific prediction. Preparation of schedule is

demonstrated in part III.

The Hindu Astrologers give greater importance to the stellar divisions of zodiac andthe Hindu ‘sages’ had adopted and advocated many Dasa systems of which threesystems, viz., Vimshoddhari Dasa System, Ashotottari Dasa System and KalachakraDasa System are largely in use. Of these, Vimshoddhari Dasa System is found verysimple, accurate and scientific in astrological predictions.

In this system, the exact position of Moon, in the zodiac, at the time of birth ofnative is taken and found in which constellation the Moon is tenated. The lord of theconstellation will be the lord of the Dasa that will be running at the time of birth ofthe native. Balance period of Dasa running at the time of birth will be calculatedfrom the total number of solar years based on the proportion of the constellationtransited and that to be transited by Moon. The same proportion of the total dasaperiod of the planet is considered as Balance Dasa Period of that planet at the time ofbirth.

The order of other planets as dasa lords are followed in a cyclic order and it isgiven in Table 11.1; where each planet is allotted a total number of solar years.

This is the base of the Vimshoddhari Dasa System. The order of dasa periodsadopted in this system is the same order used for assigning the ruler for eachconstellation starting from Aswini commencing from 0º Aries sign (Mesha Rasi)and covering the first 9 constellation of the first Zodiac Zone. (This is dealt in detailin Part-I). But, it is not known why the Hindu sages have adopted each planet aparticular number of years shown above. They might have fore-seen that the full lifeof a perfect human being will be 120 years (the total number of years of all the 9


Dasa periods). The order of dasas (planets ruling the dasas) and number of yearsallotted to each dasa period might have been arrived by the sages by their intuitivepower and actual verification with a large number of horoscopes. This system is tobe considered as a correct method until it is disproved in future.

Prof. K.S. Krishnamurthy has also adopted this system as scientific after a number ofverifications. The author also concurs with Professor K.S. Krishnamurthy with animproved method of astrological prediction of events in human life, taking intoaccount (integrating) the constellation transited by the planet whose period isrunning. It implies that the life events of the native are always under the control ofsome planets. Nothing can happen without them. That is the human destiny.

At present, the Vimshoddhari dasa which runs for many years, are used to predictthe time of an event in human life. But, it will be of no use if one predicts that anevent like marriage, or getting a child will take place in a dasa period, say in venusdasa period. which runs for 20 years. Therefore, the sages have decided to split themain dasa periods in sub-periods for each planet. They have divided each ‘Dasa’ into9 Bhukthis which are again ruled by the same 9 planets in the same cyclic orderfollowed in main dasas, the first bhukthi of a dasa lord being the dasa lord itself.

As the Bhukthi period also runs for some years, each Bhukthi is again sub-dividedinto 9 parts which will be ruled by the same 9 planets in the same cyclic order andthis sub-division is called ‘Anthras’. The first Anthra of each Bhukthi will be ruled bythe Bhukthi lord itself. Anthra period will also run for months and hence each Anthrais again sub-divided into 9 sub-sub-sub division which are called Sookshmas.Sookshmas are also ruled by the same 9 planets with same cyclic order. The firstsookshma is again being ruled by the same Anthara lord. Each Sookshma is againsub-divided into 9 ‘Pranas’ which may run in days. If required, further division ofPranas is also possible following the same method.

Thus, with the application of modern computing techniques, a detailed timeschedule of Dasa/Bhukthi/Anthara/Sookshma/Prana Lords who will be ruling thelife events of the native can be worked out from the Natal Chart. From this a timeschedule covering the entire life cycle of the native, it will be noticed that at anyparticular point of time (on a calendar date and time) above five Lords (planets)will be ruling the life of the native.

Each of these Lords (planets) must be transiting, at that time, in a constellationowned (ruled) by the Lord himself or owned by another planet. We have alreadyseen in the earlier chapters that every planet, as the significator of certain houseswill have the potential to produce certain events/results in life of the native and it isa highly dynamic process because:


i. Every activator (planet) is moving with differing speedsii. Besides the group of activators (planets) comprising Dasa-Bhukthi-Anthara-

Sookshma-Prana lords the lords of the constellation (Potentates) in whichthey are transiting conjointly produce the result/events in the life of thenative

iii. Some of the activators will be strong and some will be weak based on theirnature and speed in transit

iv. Some of the potentates will be powerful while others may be less powerfulbased on their power index as the significator of a house

Any system/method used to make scientific astrological prediction should takecare of all these aspects into account. Any prediction made without consideringthese factors will be only intuitive predictions and not scientific predictions. Thusthe system used for scientific prediction should be logical and transparent and it isopen to all to make research and experiment on the system. Then only, it will bepossible to make a continuous improvement in the astrological predictions and achieveperfection just like in any other science. This process is started by Prof. K.S.Krishnamurthy in the last century and all that seen in this book is the continuationof that process only.

A transit, in a literal sense, is the passage of a planet in the Heavens by ephemeralmotion as seen from the current years ephemeris or Panchangs. All the planets areever supposed to be moving through the Zodiac and every day, every moment, theychange their position relative to one another. They are always dynamic and notstatic.

The Hindus call the transit of planets as ‘Gochara’, and it is widely used byalmost all astrologers to predict events in human life. That is to know what a personcan expect due to the transit of planets in various zodiac signs at any point of time.General astrological predictions (offered in daily newspapers, weekly and monthlymagazines besides being published as a booklet applicable to each zodiac sign bornperson now-and-then and whenever planets like, Jupiter, Saturn are moving fromone sign to another) are all based on either the Hindu System or the Western System,which are elaborately dealt with many rules and exceptions. Most of the traditionalastrologers are fully aware of the fact that the transit system advocated by varioussages, saints and scholars are not universally applicable. They also know that theGochara/Transit predictions are useless and meaningless. But the common man isunaware of it and hence such astrological business still thrives even in this modernscientific world. Only awakening among common men, at least among the educated,through a good knowledge on scientific astrology, will safeguard them from theevils of superstition.


It is a fact that each planet is always in continuous transit in the constellationruled by a planet which will be the significator of one or more houses in the NatalChart. Prof. K.S. Krishnamurthy has advocated to use the above fact and use thetransit of planets in Astrological predictions in such a way as to make the predictionslogical, rational, scientific and accurate.

He has advocated the following general principles in adopting the transit ofplanets for accurate and scientific astrological prediction

1. Never bother about the sign or the house in which the planets are transiting.2. Find out which Dasa/Bhukthi/Andhara period is running and find out the

constellations in which their Lords (Dasa-Bhukthi lords) are transiting.3. These planets are to give the results of matters pertaining to the Houses for

which the Lords of the Constellations are the Significators.These general principles are adopted in designing the system of scientific

astrological predictions in this book. You will find the detailed mechanism of thissystem in this book.

After going through the system in this book, you will appreciate that:

� the rule followed is applicable to one and all. No other rule to confuse;No alternating; No contradiction; Full of clarity

� the simplicity of the system and the scientific approach, used in thisbook will be useful to make correct date of events in life which come topass. You will find that this approach is convincing and scientific.

� this system will confirm that every event happening in one’s life is fullycontrolled by the God through nine planets and nothing can happenwithout their influence and activation. This system will show that everyone is under the influence and control of some group of planets. It islogic, rational and scientific.

Transits will greatly help in pinpointing time of occurrence of an event jointlyusing the Udu Dasa System (Vimshoddhari Dasa System).

Astrology offers us help and hope in a manner unobtainable by any other method.It is scientific from the time of ancients to this day: but its use cannot be demonstratedby test tube methods. Planetary force is, hidden from our sight and produce effectswhich are decisive.

By research, it is found that a planet as a dasa lord offers the results/events indicatedby the lord of the constellation in which it transits more predominantly than thatindicated by the same dasa lord. It is found true that the results/events expectedaccording to the houses signified by dasa lord are not occurring in many cases whereas,


certain events that are not indicated by the significance of the dasa lord, happen. Suchevents are found fully agreeing with those fore-shadowed by the lord of the constellationin which the dasa lord is transiting. It is also found that the results that are indicatedby a planet as the Potentate will be offered only by Activator (dasa-bhukthi lord in itsperiod) when it transits in the constellation ruled by that Potentate.

This discovery has been used in this book to make a break-through in astrologicalprediction which will become accurate and scientific. This has become possible bythe integration of the Vimshoddhari dasa system and the planetary transit system.The Vimshoddhari dasa system gives a time schedule for action by planet on the lifecycle of the native based on the planetary positions in the natal chart at the time ofbirth. The planetary transit system gives the time schedule for the natural planetarymovement continuously from the time of birth and afterwards forever, thus linkingthe significators of various houses through their constellations. Thus, a logicalcontinuity is existing through Dasa-Bhukthi-Anthra (DBA) lords from the time ofbirth upto the moment of time when the event/result occurs. Thus the destiny andthe occurrence of events as per the destiny are happening beyond the control of thenative. The occurrences of events are predestinated and cannot be changed by thenative or by any body. It is the destiny of the native and it is being activated by theplanets as per the destiny plan and destiny schedule and the planets themselvescannot change it.

The Destiny Event formula for each event consists of three or more houses. Whenthese houses are linked by a planet, the destiny event becomes the Potential of thatplanet, which is called the ‘Potentate’ for that Destiny event. It implies that this Destinyevent will definitely occur in the life of the native when that potentate is activated bythe current dasa lord and the potentate is called the dasa potentate. The dasa potentateis said to be activated for occurrence by the Dasa lords, when it is transiting theconstellation owned by the potentate of the event together with the conjoint activationof all the houses of the formula by the transit of the Dasa-Bhukthi-Anithra-Sukshmalords (Activators) in the constellations owned by the Prime significators of thosehouses. Thus there are three conditions to be fulfilled for the occurrence of anyDestiny event in the life of the native. They are given below:

1. There should be at least one prime Potentate for that Destiny event. Thefulfillment of this condition will indicate that the particular event may occurin the life of the native provided that the following conditions are also fulfilled.

2. The prime Potentate should be activated by the current Dasa Lord which iscalled the Activator.

3. All the houses of that Destiny event formula need to be activated Conjointlyby the Activators at the time of occurrence of that event through theirPotentates which are Prime Significators of these houses.

The planets are called the ‘Activators’, when they are the Lords of the currently runningDasa, Bhukthi, Anthra and Sukshma period as per the Vimshoddhari Dasa Systemexplained in the section 1 of this chapter. These Activators function as a TEAM andactivate the Total Potential of the Potentates (as per destiny plan) in whose constellationsthey are transiting. A Potentate will itself be an Activator if it is one of the Dasa/Bhukthi/Anthra/Sukshma lord and is also transiting in its own constellation.

It will be easy to understand and appreciate Astrology as a science when we compareit with management science which is very well developed in this century. There isorganising function in management of an enterprise in which the total activities ofan enterprise are enumerated, rationally divided and assigned to a number ofdepartments which are sub-divided into Sections. Similarly, in Astrology themanagement of destiny events of human life are enumerated, rationally dividedand assigned to each of 12 houses (similar to departments) and their sub-houses(similar to sections). This is similar to departmentalizing and sectionising in theorganizing function in management.

�� *��,�� +-� !+�� 7�� 2�� !+��+�� Again in management, a numberof executive positions at different levels are created with detailed functionaldescriptions of each position to manage the enterprise and that plan is called theorganization chart.

Each position in the organization chart will be vested with the power of authorityenabling the executives who are to occupy the position in the future. They will usethe organization chart as reference and carry out the activities of the enterprise andproduce results expected.

In the similar way, the Destiny Plan for everyone born in this world is created byGod. Similar to executive positions in the organization chart, there are 27constellations ruled by 9 planets which are called the Potentates in the Destiny Planof a person. Under each Potentate, total life events of the native will be detailed andstored as the potential of the potentates. These life events are similar to functionaldescription of each position in the organization chart assigned to the departments.Event (Functional) description of each planet (Potentate) executable by any planet(Activator) occupying the constellations (position) owned by the potentate.

� �� *��,�� +-� ��2��+,�� 7�� 2�� !+��.� In the enterprise management,different executives in different times are posted in each position to occupy it andcarry out the functions and activities assigned to the position. In astrology any currentDasa-Bhukthi lords (planets) called Activators will be transiting always oneConstellation or other as per God’s will and each star is ruled by some Potentate.This is similar to Executive postings in management. The Activators, similar to


executives in enterprise management will execute (make to happen) the events/results of Potentates ruling the constellation transited by the Activators strictly inaccordance with the Destiny Plan of the native.

The results/events produced by the Activators during the life cycle of the nativeare well planned with time of occurrence in schedule of destiny. Integrating theDasa-bhukthi periods and the transit of the dasa-bhukthi lords for the entire lifecycle of the native the schedule of destiny can be prepared for everyone having anaccurate horoscope.

� � � � � �*� �� , � �� + -� �� - � � � �� ,+�+.�� *��. ��. We all know that thedepartmentalizing and creating executive positions in enterprise management areone-time jobs and remain static without changes.

Similarly allocation of human life activities and events to 9 potentates using thebasic significances of 12 houses and nine planets, and arriving at the Destiny Planof a person using the Natal Chart are also one-time job at the time of birth andremain static without changes.

But, posting of executives to various positions as and when required is changingwith time and will be remaining highly dynamic. Similar is the case with schedule ofdestiny, because the two inputs used for this schedule, viz., Vimshoddari Dasa Systemand Planets in transit are time-framed and hence dynamic. Thus, the Plan of Destinyremains static for a person whereas the schedule of destiny is dynamic. Neverthelessthe schedule of destiny can also be pre-determined accurately, consistently by anyonewho follows the procedure explained in this book. Thus every life event of a personcan be predicted accurately,

� First ensuring that whether an event will occur in life or not from the Destinyplan and

� Deciding the time of such event as to when the event will occur fromschedule of destiny.

Thus, the prediction system explained and demonstrated in this book will berational, accurate, consistent and thus proving to be the scientific prediction.

It is found that the activators have strong influence on the occurrence of events heldas potential by potentiates due to their strength, and motion during their transit.These aspects need to be kept in mind while making prediction.

In a natal chart, according to Prof. K.S. Krishnamurthy, there is no difference whethera planet is exalted or debilited or ruling or in friends house or in enemies house. He


is also of the opinion that there is no difference whether a planet is in direct orretrograde motion. The author agrees with K.S.K. with regards to Natal Chart whichis mainly to decide the Significators and Potentates of the Horoscope. Since theNatal Chart is drawn for a particular moment (i.e. time of birth) and for the functionalaspect of Significators and Potentates, the strength of the planets is not relevant.But in the dynamic role of planets as Activators, strength of the planets is importantand hence considered. We found that the Activator is functioning effectively andefficiently at the time of giving results of the Potentate in whose star the Activator istransiting if it is stronger at that time.

To assess the strength of an Activator at the time of giving results, the followingguide lines are to be used.

Each Activator is gaining or losing its strength when it is transiting (at the timeevents occurring) a particular sign of the zodiac based on its relation to that sign asshown in in Figure 11.1.

It is found that the influence of direct/retrograde motion or the speed of a planet atthe time of birth (Natal chart) is not there in the Destiny Plan. A planet as the Potentatefor certain events/results in life is found to contribute to the Destiny Plan irrespectiveof the planet is in direct motion or retrograde motion at the time of birth of the native.

But, the time of occurrence of events/results destined by the native is affectedby the speed of the planet (Activator). The Moon alone moves very fast only inforward direction. Sun moves forward uniformly about 1º each day. Mars, Mercuryand Venus are sometimes moving slow, at other times apparently stationery and atsome other times fast. Jupiter and Saturn move so slowly that they will hold varyingminutes of the same degree for a number of days and consequently, the duration oftheir transit lasts longer and for a number of days. The occurrence of events activatedby such Activators will also play the same music.

�� ,��8,��,+.,��*+��+� Sometimes, an Activator while transiting a constellation,turns Retrograde before it comes to an exact sensitive point to activate the results/events. At some other time, an Activator by direct motion crosses the sensitive point,and then retracts and recrosses the same sensitive point and latter turns direct in itscourse passing over the same sensitive point on other time in succession. The effectof transit in such a case will be very much marked. Always, the influence of a planetin transit is very significant when it is practically stationary upon the place of thesensitive point in the zodiac.

Therefore, it is found that the Activator in retrograde motion will give erraticresults than that given in direct motion because:

� The results/events that are promised by a Potentate will take place onlywhen the Activator transits the sensitive point (in the zodiac) which is ruledby planets which are conjointly signifying the houses meant for such results/events.

� The activator may suddenly retract to another constellation owned by otherpotentates and the results will also be different.

� The speed of the Activator in retrograde motion will be unsteady and thusthe duration of transit in the constellation will not be regular.

�� !�� +-� �,�� The faster the movement of the Activator as in the case ofMoon, it will produce the results expected from the Potentate faster and the Activatoralso will give the results of more number of Potentates in its period because it will beable to transit more number of constellations.

Thus, the speed and the nature of movement (Direct or retrograde) are gettingimportance in our system of predicting and it gives a sound reasoning why thenormal astrologers consider the slow moving planets like, Saturn, Rahu and Kethuas malefic telling that they will give bad results during their periods. The motion andspeed of the planets are briefly analysed below.


1. Sun is not having any retrograde motion. It transits in any sign for a periodof one month. Tamil Calendar Months in every year is based on the transitof Sun in the zodiac. The first month of the year starts when Sun enters thesign Aries, the 2nd month when it enters in Taurus and so on continuinglike that for every month of the year.Sun will activate 3 potentates in a Tamil month because each sign has theconstellations of 3 potentates. It will transit its own constellation threetimes in an year.

2. The Moon is the fastest moving planet with direct motion only. It will transitalmost one star every day.

3. Mars transits, a sign taking on an average of 1½ month. This means thatMars as the Activator, will activate the results/events of a Potentate takingabout 20 days. It will produce the results of all the 9 planets taking about 6months time in total. Mars, thus makes the native to enjoy or suffer theresults/events given based on the destiny plan for a longer time than thatexpected from Sun, Moon, Mercury and Venus. Mars has retrograde motion.

4. Mercury transits erratically. Occasionally it completes a sign with in 20days while taking more than a month in another sign, taking an average ofone month for each sign. Thus the results produced, will be similar to thatof Venus/Sun; but completely erratic and unpredictable while completingone cycle in 12 months. Mercury has retrograde motion.

5. Jupiter transits a sign taking an average of 12 months, thus transiting aconstellation ruled by a potentate for about 5 to 6 months which will be quitelonger duration to enjoy the same type of results/events. If the results areunfavourable, it will be unbearable and if it is in retrograde motion, it willend in untold sufferings. That is why common people give very high respectdue to fear to the transit of Jupiter compared to other fast moving planets.

6. Venus transits a sign similar to Sun taking nearly one month, thus givingthe results as an Activator, the results of a Potentate taking about 13 days.Thus, Venus also will be producing the results of all the 9 planets in 4 monthstime. Venus, has retrograde motion and hence differs from Sun.

7. Saturn transits a sign taking the longest time of 2½ years. It transits a starfor about an year and hence, people fear the maximum for Saturn’s transit,particularly when it is transiting the constellation owned by a potentate ofmore evil results/events. Further it is also having the retrograde motionand hence it will activate undesirable events to a native for longer time if itis transiting a constellation of an evil Potentate and retrograding the samestar. Thus, the transit of Saturn assumes importance and Saturn is expectedto raise a native very high or drop him so deep based on the nature ofresults which will prolong a long time.

8. The Nodes, Rahu and Kethu, always move in the opposite direction to that


of Sun and Moon. They move together as though tied up together at thediametrically opposite points at 180º in their path in zodiac.Rahu or Kethu will take 8 months to transit a constellation, thus givinggood or evil results of a Potentate ruling that constellation for a long timeof 8 months. Fortunately they move in one direction and hence less trouble.Therefore, people fear for Rahu/Kethu as they do for Saturn.

Prasanthi Formulae for a Destiny event consists of Three or more houses logicallygrouped based on the matters signified by each house. When all house of a formulaare interlinked by a planet as Significator and Locator of houses, the event is said tobe kept as a Potential of the planet. The interlinking planet is called the Potentate ofthe event for the native. The events expected to occur in the life time of the nativewhen certain planetary movement activates the potential to occur as his Destinyevent. Therefore, for any destiny event to occur in the life of a native, threerequirements are to be met:

He may be one who had completed the family life fullyand trying or desiring to detach from worldly life.

� 4, 10, 11, 12–”Duravi” ( )–A society oriented Ascetic who has given upworldly life due to interest in spiritual service (4th house) and not having anyinterest in family (sexual) life (10th house) but living with desires (11th house)

� 1, 3, 10, 12–”Sanyasi” ( )–A true Ascetic who is like a destitute living alone(12th house) without any interest in family (sexual) life (10th house) but roaminghere and there like soul ( ) (3rd house) surviving due to strength of “Spirit”and body (First house) or one who has renounced worldly pleasures and alsonot having any desire or attachments

��1 There are many words in usage to indicate ascetic life both in English andTamil languages. The author has made a detailed study of them and narrowed theminto three groups to be used in scientific Astrology. They are:

(a) Family oriented ascetic who is called as “Neethar” in Tamil language. He is a‘Sage’ who lives a divine life after relinquishing all mundane (worldly things).He is a saintly disciple who adheres to saintly principles. He is also called as


‘Rishi’ or ‘Munivar’ in India. Such an ascetic life is indicated by the Prasanthi’sformula ‘5, 9, 10, 11’.

(b) Society oriented ascetic who is called as ‘Duravi’ in Tamil. He is a ‘Saint’ who is aholy person and one of the blessed in ‘Heaven’. He is an Ascetic who has renounced(disclaimed) the worldly enjoyments. He is also called as ‘Mahan’ or ‘Sathu’ inIndia. Such ascetic life is indicated by the Prasanthi formula 4, 9, 10, 11.

(c) True ascetic who is called as ‘Sanyasi’ in India. He is also called ‘Paradesi’ whichmeans that he will be traveling continuously throughout the world. He is calledas ‘Anti’ ( ) meaning that he is an improverished man and a ‘beggeer’ whohas resigned world life spending his full time to serve God. He is severely abstinentand believes to live due to the grace of God. Such an Ascetic will also live lonelyin cave or forest. Such an Ascetic life is indicated by the Prasanthi formula 1, 3,10, 12. He will be one of the blessed to attain ‘Moksha’.

��2 Spiritual life is common to both ascetic and family people. Spiritual lifeneeds to be followed to attain the Divine grace by every one. It becomes easy for atrue ascetic to live true spriritual life because he has no one to whom he is attached.Such true ascetic will have no desire indicated by 11th house nor attachment toworldly matters indicated by 5th house. Such a true ascetic life is indicated by thePrasanthi formula 1, 3, 10, 12.

True spiritual life needs to be attained in stages for the family man because, hehas to live a social life which implies, he has to have both attachments and desires.Without them one cannot have family life or social life. Therefore, it becomes verydifficult to have true spiritual life by a family person. Therefore, any one having truespiritual life having a family life will be making a glorious achievement and such aperson may attain ‘Moksha’ provided he has ‘Poorva Punya and destiny for that. But toachieve fully, true spiritual life, every one leading family life needs to become a familyoriented ascetic ( ) first. He has to live a family life having a ‘Detached attachment’with sacrifies of desires to the extent possible at the first stage. Such ascetic life isindicated by athe Prasanthi Formula 5, 9, 10, 11 (Family Oriented Ascetic).

In the second stage, he has to become a society oriented Ascetic indicated by thePrasanthi formula (4, 9, 10, 11). It means he has to be free from any attachment.

In the 3rd stage, he has to become a Tue Ascetic indicated by Prasanthi formula(1, 3, 10, 12) which requires dropping out both attachment and desires. It may not bepossible for every one to attain this stage of Ascetic Life. But, any one who had lived aTrue Family Life with good deed in this birth and in the previous birth, can attain‘Moksha’ provided he has the destiy and lead a Divine Life (True Spriritual Life).
