Quick reference guide

You will need:• A PC or laptop with an up-to-date browser• A smartphone or tablet as your authentication device (“Digipass Mobile”)

1. First install the “CIC Secure” app on your smartphone or tablet. • iOS devices (iPhones and iPads) via the Apple Store • Android devices (Samsung, Sony, etc.) via the Google Play Store This turns your mobile device into your “Digipass Mobile”.

2. On your PC or laptop, go to the website: cic.ch/ebanking.

3. Select “Register Digipass”.

4. Enter your existing user name and current password.

5. Scan the mosaic from your activation letter using the “CIC Secure” app and follow the instructions.

6. Once you have registered successfully, you will be taken straight to the e-banking login page.

7. Enter your user name and current password. You will be asked to set a new password.

8. The setup wizard guides you through the configuration process and lets you define your default settings for e-banking. You have successfully configured e-banking.

9. All e-banking services are available for you to use with immediate effect.

10. If you have already used “Digipass Mobile” in the past, you can uninstall the old “Digipass e-banking” app.

To help you log into the new e-banking system for the first time, you will have received an activation letter with mosaic to register and information on downloading the “CIC Secure” app.

“Digipass Mobile” is the standard method for logging into the new e-banking system.

Download the “CIC Secure” app from the App Store (iOS devices, iPhones and iPads) or the Google Play Store (Android devices).

If you are logging into the new e-banking system for the first time, you will need to activate “Digipass Mobile” beforehand.

To do so, click on “e-banking” A on the website cic.ch.

Select “Register Digipass”.

Then follow the instructions in e-banking to activate “Digipass Mobile”.

Your login details from the old e-banking system (user name and password) remain the same.

In the window that appears (see below), enter your user name A and current password B and click on “Validate” C .

Launch the “CIC Secure” app and scan the mosaic A from your activation letter B .

An eleven-digit activation code C will appear on the app screen.

Another mosaic will appear on the screen.

Use your Digipass Mobile to scan the mosaic A (from screen).To do so, tap “Scan online mosaic” B in the app.

Step 3

Important: Choose a unique new four-to-six-digit PIN (letters and/or specialcharacters) for “Digipass Mobile”. NB: Four consecutive numbers (e.g. 1234) are not permitted.

Re-enter your chosen PIN to confirm it and then tap “Done”.

If the “Biometric protection” feature is activated on your device, the four-to-six-digit PIN is not required.

An eight-digit code (first OTP) A will appear on “Digipass Mobile”.

Enter in e-banking the eight-digit activation code in the “OTP” B boxand click on “Validate” C .

Tap “OK” in the top left hand corner to confirm activation of "Digipass Mobile"."Digipass Mobile" has now been successfully activated.

All e-banking services will be available for you to use as soon as you havelogged in. Please click on the “Login” A button to log into the new e-bankingsystem for the first time.

After successfully activating your authentication device, you will be takenstraight to the login page. Enter your user name B and current password C here and click on “Login” D .

Step 5

In “Digipass Mobile”, click on “OTP” and scan the mosaic A (from screen). An eight-digit code (second OTP) will appear on "Digipass Mobile".

Enter in e-banking the eight-digit activation code in the “OTP” B box and click on “Validate” C .

You will now be asked to enter a new password that fulfils the new security criteria:

• At least ten characters• At least one special character• At least one upper-case letter• At least one lower-case letter• At least one number• No more than three consecutive numbers (1234 is not permitted)

Click on “Confirm” A .

Pick your default portfolio A and default debit account B and click on “Continue” C .

Your chosen default portfolio will be displayed on the home page wheneveryou log into the new e-banking system.

The default debit account will be used for all payment transactions and will beproposed as your debit account whenever you make a payment.

Select the view you want for each portfolio on your home page and click on “Continue”.

You have three views to choose from:

LiquidityShows payments on your home page. Suitable if your portfolio does not contain any securities.

Securities Shows most recent transactions. Suitable if your portfolio contains securities.

Combination If you would like details of both securities and liquidity to appear on the home page.
