Activate your
account under the
Student GIC Program
A Step-by-Step Guide
Download the ICICI Bank Canada SPP app from:
You may also visit the Account Activation
page via a web browser by clicking here
On the login screen:
Enter your account no., passport no.,
and date of birth to login

Provide some details to request for account activation
Click on Activate Account:
Read the instructions carefully and complete all fields from page 1 to 5

Read and follow every step outlined on page 6

On page 7 enter your Study Permit document number & other details.
Upload images exactly as instructed and then click on Submit.

The above message will be displayed upon successful
submission of your account activation request.

Bank statement
Download the Bank Statement from your ICICI Bank Canada secure mailbox.
The Bank Statement serves as a proof of your Canadian address.

Updates from ICICI Bank Canada within 1-2 business days
We will verify your details and update you with one of the two scenarios below.
Note: You will not receive an email from Sterling if you have chosen to visit an ICICI
Bank Canada Branch.
Scenario 1: Discrepancy found
You will receive a notification at your personal email address inviting you to
check the ICICI Bank Canada secure mailbox for details on how to resolve
the discrepancy.
Scenario 2: No discrepancy found
You will receive an email from Sterling ([email protected]) at
your personal email address with further instructions.

discrepancies by correcting the field(s) highlighted in red

Scenario 2: Email notification

1. To access eConsent, please click on the link below and enter the following access code: MWMOTXTB
https://eSurvey.backcheck.net/Login.welcome_to_the_online_process
If there is no discrepancy or after all the discrepancies are
resolved, you will receive an email from
[email protected] at your personal email address.
This email contains a link and an access code. Click on this
link to proceed further on the Sterling’s Website.

Enter the access code shown in the email Create your password & enter other details
