– Implement an inquiry/research education culture within public schools system in the UAE

– Institutionalize management of science fairs and science programs for middle and secondary schools

– Increase the number of students participating in science fairs by 30% within 3 years

• Short term goals Progress– Training completed for 65 science & math teachers on 21st century

skills to promote enquiry based learning in the classrooms – 25 math and science teachers have volunteered as mentors to assist

students– Start a Country wide faire and affiliate it to ISEF– Scientific Review committee established and trained on ISEF

requirements/standards– Judging committee is still under review.– Participate with at least one project in ISEF 2011 -
