first will be an aggregation of non-political info, starting with homage to  singer-phil-everly, who died

[What This Guy Did With His Dog Is The Most Ridiculously Brilliant Thing Ever , Cats stealing dog beds,

and Dogs Fail as Home Security Systems] and gadgetry [Tips, tricks, and downloads to get things done,

Genius Solutions To Simple Problems, and household-tips]. Finally, it is desirable to recognize how lucky

Americans continue to be—notwithstanding BHO—by noting this rendition of the star-spangled-banner

and how Kate Smith introduced God Bless America [noting that Irving Berlin and Ronald Reagan appear

@ 4:19] and recalling her appearances before two Flyers games in 1974 and 1976]. Below is a quote that

is familiar [with its author ID’ed] and a reminder of the importance of maintaining a strong DoD

[recalling how BHO cut vet-benefits, an issue that will be covered in greater detail in a future“blast”].

“You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching,

Love like you'll never be hurt,

Sing like there's nobody listening,And live like it's heaven on earth.”

― William W. Purkey

Regarding the Iggles, before it was determined that the  Eagles-had the only-NFL-playoff-sellout [with

the Packers-Bengals-Colts-facing-blackouts], it was shown that one could hyperlink into ticketmaster as

late as Friday-p.m. [Still-time-to-buy-an-Eagles-ticket at-face-value]. Although LARRY MENDTE [inter alia]

predicted the Eagles Would Beat the Saints for 8 good reasons, I was a bit skeptical, if only because the

stats demonstrated the Eagles had the worst rushing-defense in the NFL; I told a patient on Saturday

[after she received her chemo-Rx] that I hoped the Eagles would remain close during the first half [and,

c/o two turnover-interceptions, they were] and then they could have a chance to open-up the offense.

[When they were unable to get a TD after the Jackson pass-interference, the consensus-view of the

Davidsons and myself was that they were in dire-straits; when the defense became porous after a

terrible horse-collar penalty, our only hope was that the score would be sufficiently swift to allow for a

comeback-score but…alas…that was not to be the case, so we decided the better team had won.]

Depicted are amulets that Judy/Jeff placed onto their lawn [recalling their having run a sports-cafe], plus

a set of reminders as to the weather-conditions [which weren’t as severe as those extant against Dallas].

Philosophical Observations Regarding “Middle Age” [reformatted]

You're getting old when…

--you don't care where your spouse goes, just as long as you don't have to go with him/her.

--you discover it takes longer to rest than to get tired.

--you have stopped growing at both ends, and have begun to grow in the middle.

--you realize that caution is the only thing you care to exercise.

--you are cautioned to slow down by your doctor, instead of by a police officer.

--you find "getting lucky" means you find your car in the parking lot.

--you no longer have to worry about avoiding temptation, for it avoids you.

--you find "getting a little action" means you don't need to take a laxative.

--you choose, between two temptations, one that will get you home earlier.

--you observe that, by the time you’re wise enough to watch your step, you’re too old to go anywhere.

The aging process could be slowed down if it had to work its way through Congress.
