passion, here is a programme that is tailored just for you.

Indira School of Communication (ISC), a part of Shree Chanakya

Education Society's Indira Group of Institutes (Est. 1994)

announces its Acting Academy in association with Jackie Shroff.

Designed both for fresh, debutante actors as well as those with

experience, this Academy provides actors with modern

on-camera acting techniques rooted in time-honored

theatrical traditions. Discover acting in its most developed

form.

Golden Words

As William Shakespeare popularly puts it, “All the world's a

stage and we are all performers.” During my three decades in

the entertainment industry, I have realized this truth many

times. Though the actor and the character are different; they

need to create a communion at one point in time and space.

This is nothing else but a supernatural and spiritual experience.

This experience not only creates a good actor but also helps

you evolve into a good human being. Over a span of more than

250 films in more than 8 languages; I have grown as an actor

and as a person and believe that a person learns a lot through

training.

ISC's Acting Academy offers a trinity of superlatives - students,

faculty and infrastructure in a congenial environment. The

endeavor is to offer aspiring actors a wholesome, enjoyable

and fulfilling experience preparing them for Indian and World

TV &Cinema.

Programme Structure: Diploma in Acting

The Diploma Programme is modeled on some of the

programmes from the finest acting schools of the world. It

equips students to become coveted actors for the big and small

screens. The course will be taught over 6 months, 5 days a week.

The syllabus is based on 'Method Acting Techniques' and covers

the following modules:

Film Appreciation- Big and Small Screens

An actor and his body, observation and imagination

Scenes Study

Script Analysis, Characterization

Voice and Speech Culture

Creative Body Movements - Yoga, Aerobics, Dance and

Action

Participation in a real shoot

Audition Techniques

Acting for the Camera

Students will get an opportunity to act in a play and short film

produced by ISC. Their talent will be showcased to the eminent

Directors and Producers through a play performance.

Eligibility and Fees thAnyone who is 18 years and above and has cleared his 12 Std. is

eligible to apply.

Course Fees: INR 1,00,000/-

Selection and Admission Procedure

Interested candidates will have to fill in the application form

which can be downloaded from our website or collected from

the School and submit it.

Short listed candidates will be interviewed and auditioned by

the Dean.

Admissions will be granted on the basis of the Interview and

Audition, after which fees will have to be paid in full at the

Academy.

Free, expert counseling will be made available by prior

appointment.

Placement Assistance will be provided to deserving

candidates.

Experienced Faculty

The Dean: Ms. Renu Garg

Renu Garg is an MA in Theater and Television and a National School

of Drama alumnus. Well-grounded in theoretical and conceptual

foundations of Acting and Direction, she has forty plays to her

credit. Ms. Garg has helped many actors become more effective

in their artistic and business approach to landing good roles.

Students will be trained by experts and veterans from the film

industry. They will be assisted by experienced faculty chosen from

the film industry's established directors, actors, producers and

writers.

ISC's resources are easily among the best in Pune. Housed

exclusively in a 30,000 sq. ft. building in a picturesque campus

on the Pune-Mumbai highway, ISC is among the largest

privately owned postgraduate communication schools in

India.
