Advancing Government through Education, Leadership and Collaboration
Data-Driven Decision-Making focused on implementing the Federal Data Strategy and Cross-Agency Priority Goal #2: Data and Accountability in the President’s Management Agenda
Seeking experience professionals with expertise in:
Data strategy development and implementation for large Federal agencies with complex, diverse mission areas; Organizational Change Management experience working with senior-level officials; Data architecture and infrastructure for advanced analytics; Analytic tools and visualization technologies, including for big-data driven use cases; Management disciplines and technical approaches for enhancing data security and integrity; and
Training / up-skilling teams to build a data and analytics-savvy workforce.

Build executive-level leadership skills
Prepare for roles at SES and company officer levels
Identify real-time solutions for workplace challenges
Collaborate in a 1:1 government to industry setting
Increase understanding of other agencies and industry operations
Run by senior government and industry professionals
Graduation at Executive Leadership Conference (ELC)
Receive up to 50 CLPs

Identified as “promotable” to the SES ranks within the next 3-5 years

Industry applicants:
15+ years of progressively responsible positions
Promotable to senior levels within the next 3-5 years
Currently serving as a leader in the government technology community

Robert McHale
Robert McHale is a Senior Client Partner in the
Northern Virginia office and leads Korn Ferry’s,
Government Technology and Services Practice.
Mr. McHale is recognized for his superior
management of engagements with technology,
consulting and services companies, with a focus
on the Government Contracting arena and
Public Sector customer markets. Clients
include government system integrators,
professional services firms, software and
product companies.
Mr. McHale has conducted multiple executive
search assignments within the public sector
technology marketplace, encompassing many
functions of the executive suite with a
concentration on Board, CEO, general
management roles.
He has led successful leadership engagements
for CSRA, IBM, Harris Corporation, PSC,
General Dynamics, AECOM, IDEMIA, Serco,
DXC, Constellis, Booz Allen, Leidos etc. He has
also executed multiple CEO searches for private
equity backed government technology
companies such as Altamira, Novetta, Sotera,
ESP, Iron Data, GTL etc.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry in 1998, Mr. McHale
was an executive with several other search
firms headquartered in both the United States
and in Australia.
Before entering executive search, he worked for
Camrus Publishers, a publishing firm, and
moved to Washington, D.C. to help establish a
magazine venture in the United States. His
career began in London, working as an account
executive for Sloangate Ltd, a human resource
and advertising firm.
Mr. McHale is active in the Washington DC
community, served as a executive board
member for Washington Heart Walk for the past
several years.
Mr. McHale holds a bachelor’s degree in
political science from Portsmouth University in
the United Kingdom.
